I was so delighted that my Chinese pen pal Li Hua invited me to celebrate the past Spring Festival with her. There is no doubt that it was really an enjoyable and unforgettable experience for me.
The Spring Festival in China is a special occasion when Chinese families get together. During the festival, we visited some of her families and relatives together and received Lucky Money. Besides, we tried some traditional foods, watched Dragon and Lion dance and participated in some other celebration activities. Afterwards, we paid a visit to Mount Tai, a famous tourist attraction in Shandong Province.
Greatly impressed by Chinese unique culture and attractive scenery, I have a better understanding of China. It’s indeed worthwhile to explore a foreign culture.
