Analysis of the Teaching Material 本课是一节写作及总结复习课，3a-3c是写作板块，包括三个活动，是综合性的写作训练板块，内容环环相扣，要求层层递进。对学生的语言运用提出了更高的要求。要求学生能够根据单元内容，尝试笔头的语言输出。3a格林伍德公园的语篇填词不仅再次让学生在语境中练习较级与最高级，还为接下来的写作提供了很好的范例。3b是为3c提供写作的框架和要点，也为学生介绍地方，描写事物打开了思路。整个过程由易到难，循序渐进，符合学生的认知规律。活动4学生可以通过讨论，向同学们展示城市之最并说明理由。Self Check的二个练习帮助学生了解自己对本单元语言目标的达成情况。
Analysis of the Students 经过前面几课时持续的练习，大部分同学已经掌握了形容词和副词最高级的变化规及其则用法。对如何描述“达人”及其最突出的特点有了一定的基础，对于如何描述城市之最以及理由也有一定的了解，写作任务对大部分学生来说难度不是很大，应该能顺利写出令自己满意的文章。但部分学生在运用副词最高级的时候，学生出错的频率很高，因为词性一直及其是学生理解的难点在内容要点、文体格式以及语言的规范性方面可能会存在一定困难，需要进行针对性的指导，“认为做某事如何”这一句型需要进一步的强化。

Step 2Pre-writing 1.T shows some pictures about Greenwood Park, and asks Ss to read the article about Greenwood Park. Fill in the blanks with the correct superlative forms of the adjectives and adverbs in the box. 2.T tells Ss a solution to this problem.3.Ss read the article and try to fill in the blanks. 4.T checks the answers with the Ss.5.T lets Ss think about the structure of the article. Then leads to list it.6.T leads to analysis the structure (Beginning(the topic sentence)，Body (the supporting details)，Ending(the concluding sentence)).And then list the 4-square.7.Pair work: Think about some of the best places/things in your town. Step 4Post- writing 1.Self-check and peer-check. 2.T lets Ss discuss the towns/cities in China with a partner. Tell the class which town/city you think is the best.3.T chooses 2 or 3 students to make the conversation. 4.T asks Ss to complete the tasks in Self Check work on their own.
