A Continuation of a Story

该部分为读后写作课,以本单元的两篇阅读文本出发锻炼学生读后续写能力,文章根据Lesson3 20,OO0 Leagues Under the Sea原始文本出发,构建读后续写。思维图示以及情节发展脉络,以第一人称的口吻叙述了登上潜艇之后与船上海员之间的对话,尊重原文,在理解原文的故事情节基础上行文,并拾当延续了原始文木的时态、语态,将主人公的感官、动作以及内心理动描写淋离尽致。学生要在进行一定练习之后,对Lesson1 The Last Leaf进行读后续写,引导学生发散思维,提高学生阅读语篇以及对文本进行深度加工的能力。

New plot Johnsy and Sue worked harder in art after Mr. Behrman died. They decided to get on in life and share this touching story with people.
The development of the story With their continuous hard work, they successfully held an art exhibition of their paintings and some remaining works from Mr. Behrman.
Ending The local newspaper reported about this. Some rich men bought their works. Johnsy and Sue raised a charity to support poor people with pneumonia.

Hearing what Sue said, Johnsy was lost in guilt. Johnsy and Sue sat behind the window gazing at the last leaf that Mr. Behrman had painted with tears in silence. Then they looked at each other sadly.
“I’ve been a bad girl, but now I have regretted and I will do something for Mr. Behrman, who sacrificed his life for mine.” Johnsy told Sue.
Since then, they devoted their whole heart to the cause of art. Johnsy combined her own style with the inspiration from Mr. Behrman, and created some paintings that drew attention from the local newspaper.
With their continuous hard work, They successfully held an art exhibition of their paintings and some remaining works from Mr. Behrman.

读后续写的高考评分标准
评分标准:
1.本题总分为25分,按5个档次给分。
2.评分时,先根据所续写内容和语言(词汇语法、篇章结构)等考虑。
(1)与所给短文及段落开头语的衔接程度;
(2)内容的合理性;
(3)应用语法结构和词汇的丰富性和准确性;
(4)上下文的连贯性;
3.先根据作答的整体情况确定其所属档次,然后以该档次的要求来衡量、确定或调整档次,最后给分。
4. 评分时还应注意:
(1)拼写与标点符号是写作规范的重要方面,评分时应视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑,英美拼写均可接受;
5. 书写较差,以至影响交际,可将分数降低一个档次;
6. 词数少于130的,从总分中减去2分。

第二课时 Language Points
1. I couldn't say where I was, nor could I imagine.
本句为“nor十助动词/系动词/情态动词+主语“构成的部分倒装结构。
(l) “nor/ neither十助动词/系动词/情态动词+主语”构成倒装句型,意为“……也不这样”, 表示某人或某物也有前面说过的情况(否定情况)。
(2)“so十助动词/系动词/情态动词+主语”构成倒装句型,为"……也是如此",表示某人或某物也有前面说过的情况(肯定情况)。
(3)“so+主语+助动词/系动词/情态动词”,意为"……的确如此",表示说话人同意对方的观点或对上文内容加以强调或肯定。
(4)如果前面句子的谓语既有肯定又有否定,或者有两个谓语时,就用句型So it is/was with...或It is/was the same with...。
