教学内容
Read and write 学生能够读懂四组句子描述,并能够与图中的人物进行正确地匹配。学生能够按照正确的语音、语调及意群,来朗读四组句子。学生能够在有意义的语境中,抄写单元的话题词汇,并将句子补充完整。学生能够综合运用本单元的核心词句,对同学进行描述。
Let’s check 学生能够通过看图,学会从图片片找重要信息,从而推测考查点,做到有意识地去听录音,听后完成排序任务。学生能够养成良好的听力习惯,以持续提高学生的听力水平。
Let’s sing 学生能够了解歌词意义,并能清晰准确地歌唱。

学生能够根据本单元的重点核心单词及句型,来表达对朋友的外貌、服饰、性格等多方面的描述。

教学过程
Step 1: Review
1. Greetings.
2. Let’s sing
T: Let’s sing the song “Friend” together. And let’s clap your hands with the song.
(用歌曲friend开场,营造活跃的气氛,让学生一起跟着歌曲里的节拍一起拍手)
3.Review
T: We have learned many words, phrases and sentences to describe your friends. Let’s review them one by one.
T: How can we describe a friend. First we can say something from the appearance. For example, He/ She is tall. (short, fat, thin, strong)
T: Second, we can describe a friend from the decoration. Like glasses, hat, shoes and so on.
T: We can say like this: He/ She has ...
T: Third, we can describe a friend from the personality. Like quiet, friendly, cute, kind and go on.
T: We use the sentence: He/ She is ......
(先复习归纳总结,我们可以从三个角度去描述一个好朋友,即外貌,穿着打扮,性格。还有加入句型He is/ She is ...还有He has / She has ...让学生把视角打开,扩宽表达的范围。)
Step 2: Look and match
T: Look at these two pictures. They are two girls. Can you say something about them
T: First let’s look at the girl on the left, look at her hair, can you say something about her hair
S1: She has short hair.
T: Great. And how about the hair of the girl on the right
S2: She has long hair. She has black long hair.
T: How about the personality of them
S3: She is quiet. (左图)
S4: She is friendly. (右图)
(把书本Let’s check 部分的look and match的四张图,拆分成两组,第一组是两个女生进行比较,第二组是两个男生进行比较。引导学生一边观察,一边用句型表达)
T: Great. Now let’s move to compare these two boys. They are very different. Look at this boy on the left, what is he like
S5: He is tall and strong. And he has blue shoes.
S6: He is short and thin. He has short brown hair.
(学生先说,再去完成书面的连线)
Step 3: Let’s Read and match
T: Look at this picture, where are they
Ss: They are in the classroom.
T: Who are they
(指一个人名,引导学生读出正确的名字发音,可以把名字用红色字体突出一下其中的元音部分,特别是符合a_e的发音规则的James, Kate,更好地帮助学生来回想起发音。)
T: Yes, they are James, Kate, Ann and Ben.
T: Now let’s play a guessing game. You should point out who is he or she according to the descriptions.
T: When you read, try to catch the important information. With the information, you can choose the person.
(Tips: 在读取信息时,要快速抓取到重要的信息,根据重要信息再去判断人物)
He has short hair. He has a big green bag. What is his name (He is James.)
She has long hair. She has orange shoes. What is her name (She is Ann.)
She is tall. She is friendly. She has a blue hat. Who is she (She is Kate.)
He is short and thin. He has glasses. He is near the window. Who is he (He is Ben.)

Step 4: Let’s look, choose and write
T: Look at the pictures, fill in the blanks with the correct words.

T: Look at the pictures, listen to the tape and number the pictures.
