一、Teaching Material【教材分析】
The text is taken from the textbook published by People's Education Press for grade 7 students. This lesson is chosen from unit10. The topic of this unit is about food, it is important in our daily life. It makes a good foundation for the next unit. This part is the basic language content of this unit which can lay a solid foundation for students. If students can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the students learn the rest of this unit.
In this unit, students will learn to talk about how to order food, ask others what food they like and talk about food traditions around the world in English. The content of this unit is highly related with students' daily life. It can stimulate students' interest in learning. And it's useful to improve students' spoken English and communicative competence.
This is a listening lesson. Under the guidance of the unit topic, this lesson helps to form the concepts of food in students' mind. Also it helps to expand students' vocabulary of fruit, vegetables and different kinds of food, and train the students to use the structure of modal verb would like, It can help students know how to order food, let students develop healthy eating habits and stop wasting food.
Through the previous study, students have mastered some vocabularies of food. They all know the use of modal verbs. they have certain listening, speaking, reading and writing ability, English thinking ability and understanding ability. However, in practical students can't express specials, and they can't order food in the restaurant fluently.
This class follows the basic concept of task-based teaching, with the help of multimedia and other teaching AIDS. The teaching process is always student-centered, and it uses various ways to complete tasks. In the teaching process, I will use pictures, videos, scenario hypothesis, role-play and other activities to help students master knowledge and apply the knowledge flexibly. Students can know words by preview, and memorize words through virtual shopping scenarios. Through finishing three main tasks, students can master the important and difficult sentences. From words to phrases and the sentences, step by step. Then role-play the conversations to show what they have learned. It can summarize and consolidate the learning content of this lesson.

Ss: we usually eat noodles for lunch.

★Step 2 Presentation【新课讲授】
1.Create situation : I will open a noodles restaurant “Delicious Restaurant” . If we want to run it, we should buy some food first. Let's go shopping together.
2. Through going shopping to learn the words and sentences
Meat: mutton, beef, chicken.
Vegetables: cabbage, potato, carrot, tomato

★Step 3 Practice【课堂活动】
Students need to finish three tasks to be my best waiter or waitress.
1.Task1: Finish1a, match the words with the foods.
Let students memorize the words, then having a guess time to consolidate the words.
2.Task2:Group Work
Let students to create some specials by combining foods.
Special 1: Beef and tomato noodles
Special 2: Chicken and cabbage noodles
Special 3: Mutton,potato and carrot noodles
