教材分析 本单元以为学生奠定英语学习为基础围绕“ What’s this in English ”这个主题让学生在完成各项任务的过程中学会语言,真正体现“learn by doing,Learn through doing.”的教学原则。让学生学会并掌握英文字母I—R。本单元所蕴含课程思政目标为:通过掌握英语缩写字母P、NBA,kg的含义,引申出中文中缩写字母CCTV、CBA、停、斤两等的意思,感受中国文字的博大精深。
学情分析 本单元要求学生掌握英文字母I—R,能认读印刷体和手写体字母的大小写等四种形式,书写(大小写、笔顺、笔画)根本符合要求。由于字母学习是基础,学生掌握起来会相对容易,本单元通过“认物”课题,用英语确认周围常见事物比较符合英语初学者的实际情况,学生可以通过本单元教学运用所学句型,去熟悉周围的事物名称,教学生学会在实际生活中如何辨认,通过辨认,学到一些生词,并巩固所学句型。

导入新课 1. Play the greeting song,the students listen and sing along with it. 2. The teacher and the students greet each other.

Step 1 Task 1a-1c Show a picture of my room and get students to observe the picture and ask:“What can you see in the picture ” Show the picture of each thing and help student to learn the new words. Let Ss look at the small letters in the picture for these big letters. Check the ones you find. Let Ss listen to the tape and find out what the conversation is about. The dialogue is about ______. greetings(问候) things(物品) Let Ss listen again and choose. Let Ss listen again and repeat. Then practice the conversation in the picture with your partner and make your conversation. Step 2 Task 2a-2e The teacher plays the recording of the letters one by one, and students repeat. 2.Let’s work on 2b. Listen and number the letters you hear [1-10]. 3. Let Ss look at the letters and guide Ss find out the writing rules of the letters Ii ~ Rr. 4. Let Ss try to copy the letters by themselves. 5.Let Ss try to write down the missing letters. Check the answers with your partner. 6. Show some special letters P, NBA and kg. Let Ss think about the meanings of them. Then teach the conception of abbreviation and give some examples. Step 3 Summary Let Ss summarize what we learned in this class. Step 4 Homework Students can speak in Chinese at first. Ss:I think it’s ….Learn the new words and repeat after the tape. Look at the small letters in the picture for these big letters. Check the ones you find. 4.listen to the tape and find out what the conversation is about. 5. Listen to the tape and choose. ①. Make 3 conversations to identify things. 2.Write the letters from Ii to Rr five times in the right stroke sequence. 1.Let Ss feel the objects acording to the pictures and master the right pronunciation of the words. 2.Develop the listening skills. Master the writing and pronunciation of the letters from I to R. Consolidate the knowledge.
