教学内容:Unit8 Visiting Museums
(第二课时Look and read部分)
教学目标:
1.知识与技能目标:借助图片读懂关于参观博物馆的短文,学会用 What did you …?询问别人在博物馆见到了什么。借助图片、微课视频等掌握kind,dancer,finger,many kinds of等词语。
2.过程与方法目标:通过阅读短文,帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元所学的词句,培养学生的语用能力。学会用一般过去时描述见闻的方法。
3.情感态度与价值观目标:通过读文,激发学生对科学产生兴趣。
教学重点:读文,理解文中的单词、句子。
教学难点:注意一般过去时与一般现在时的混合使用

教学过程:
一、歌曲热身,营造氛围
谈话Do you like robots?播放歌曲《I’v got a robot》,学生跟唱。
【设计意图:通过跟视频唱英文歌曲,营造英语学习氛围的同时,复习robot一词,以及句型He can … 为新课学习做好铺垫。】
旧知复习,做好铺垫
1. 拼读短语。幻灯片出示上一节课学过的短语:car museum,art museum,insect museum,science museum等学生拼读。再在此基础上,利用幻灯片做What’s missing?游戏。
2. 出示教师自己的照片,然后说:I visited a museum during the holiday。Guess:Which museum did I visit?引导学生用Did you visit…?来询问。
3. 出示前一节课的插图,给出提纲,学生复述课文。
Alice went to an ___________last Saturday.
She saw ___________________________.
She bought ________________________
Last Sunday, Joe went to a_________
He saw ________________________
He bought ______________________
【设计意图:通过游戏、猜一猜和看图复述,复习本单元的短语和Ask and answer的对话中的句型做好铺垫。】
三、问题导入,学习课文。
( 由前一节课Joe和Alice插图过度,出示Kitty和Ben的照片)T:Joe went to the car museum. Alice went to the insect museum. Kitty and her brother Ben went to a museum , too. Where did they go What did they see
1.学生带问题听课文录音,Which museum did they go 学生回答正确后,师板书课题。
2.学生看课文视频,整体感知课文内容。将每段的大意排序。叫一名学生前面,把句子排好。然后用大屏幕来核对答案。(注意提示学生文中开头一段的时态)

1.学生默读课文,帮助Kitty和Ben完成书中的海报。课件核对答案。课文中红线画出答案部分。
2.分段学文,
(1)Paragraph 1:
A. 读课文,回答:Where is the science museum What time does the museum open 出示答案。知道朗读。红色的词重读。
B.填空:

C. 再出示三年前这里的图片。一栋大楼。让学生想象,三年前这里是什么。

【设计意图:培养学生按意群朗读的能力,填空练习可为写作奠定基础,想象练习,注意了一般现在时和一般过去式的对比训练,突破难点。】

核对答案后,练习词语kind 和many kinds of

C. 出示本段课文图文,跟录音读文。
Paragraph 3:
默读课文第三段,找出5个动词过去式。
生汇报过去式,师领读,过去式及原形。带动作读,帮助记忆。

学习finger。
T:Please show me your fingers. How many fingers do you have
学生跟老师边说边做:fingers,fingers,move very fast
出示图,理解、区分at the piano 和 beside the piano
指导读。先听听音跟读,注意重音与停顿。再带动作齐读。
Paragraph 4:
快速读文并回答:What could the robot dancer do?学生回答,让学生做动作理解moved his head and arms.
看大屏幕,学生带动作齐读。
Paragraph 5:
出示课文,看画线句子:They had a great time there. 引导学生替换句子。They had a good time there. They were very happy there.
跟录音读文。注意interesting的重音。
【设计意图:帮助学生在读文中理解词语,通过做动
作,加深学生对动词过去式的印象。】
四、巩固操练,说写结合
1. Ask and answer:书中55页下半页练习。Pair work
先选一个场所同桌间练习,再展示。
2. Write about your visit to a museum.
先想一想:Which museum did you visit
When did you visit the museum
What did you see there
How did you feel
学生写,然后读出来展示。
【设计意图:学以致用,培养学生的综合语言运用能力和写作能力。】
五、 Homework
要求:1和2 根据自己的能力,选择一项来完成,3是必做的。
1. Read the passage on page 54.(朗读课文)
2. Retell the passage on page 54.(复述课文)
3. Read the passage on Workbook page27, and answer the questions.
【设计意图:体现作业的自主性,选择性以及因材施教的思想。】
