Dudley went to Disneyland
One day, Sammy went for a walk in the hills. In a cave, he found a stone. It was in the shape of an egg. He took it home and put it by his window. The sun warmed it every day.
One morning, Sammy heard a noise from the stone and saw a hole in it. A small animal climbed out and looked at Sammy. It was a dinosaur. Sammy gave it the name ‘Dudley’.
Dudley was always hungry. It ate and ate and grew and grew. Soon it was bigger than Sammy.
A man in Disneyland read about Sammy and Dudley in the newspaper.
He phoned Sammy and said, ‘Come to Disneyland with Dudley and meet our visitors. I’ll pay you a million dollars.’
Sammy said, ‘OK.’
A week later, Sammy got the money. He said, ‘I’m rich now. I’ll be happy.’
That night, Sammy had a dream. He saw a man called Diogenes. The man said to him, ‘The way to be happy is to own as few things as possible. You know what to do with the money, don’t you ’
The next day, Sammy gave all his money to the people in the world.
