意为 “应该/应当做某事”, 相当于should do sth.,表示根据规定或传统习惯人们不得不做或期待发生的事。be supposed to中的to为动词不定式符号,后接动词原形,be动词有人称和时态的变化。
eg. 1. 在中国与他人第一次见面时你应该握手。
2. 飞机本应该6点钟到。
