教材分析
本套教材是基于一系列学生熟悉的相关话题展开的。第二模块从美术、手工制作和体育活动三个方面呈现丰富多彩的课余生活。本单元介绍手工作品及制作所需的材料。本节课是本单元的第一课时,学习有关手工制作的新词汇scissors,tape等,帮助学生复习What do you want to make?What do you need?等Wh-questions及其回答,主要要求学生能用核心单词和句型说说自己需要什么工具和材料来制作一个手工作品并描述该手工作品。学生通过本课时的学习,能询问他人想要做的事以及正在做的事。学生也能相应的时态和句型表达自己的想法。
学情分析
本教材授课对象是六年级的学生,他们即将小学毕业,有了一定的英语知识储备,渴望了解更多的文化相关知识,也愿意用英文来表达自己。学生已经学习过本课中的Wh-questions。总体来看,在句型运用方面,学生不会感到困难,然而在课文中的词汇方面,学生容易在语音方面出现一些错误。
教学目标
一、语言知识目标1.能在语境中正确运用本单元的核心词汇;2.能选择出做某件手工作品所需要的材料; 3.会用Wh-questions和现在进行时谈论手工制作。二、语言能力目标: 1.尝试谈论自己或他人所需要的材料; 2.尝试询问和描述自己和他人想要做的事、正在做的事以及过去做的事。三、情感态度目标: 1.能在语言学习过程中,提高动手能力。2.在生活中接触英语时,乐于探究其含义并尝试模仿。3.为学生创设轻松、愉悦的英语课堂学习氛围,使学生在学习中敢于开口说英语,增加他们英语学习的浓厚兴趣。4.有明确的学习目的,能认识到学习英语的目的在于交流。5.为学生提供真实语境,表达自己对家人对朋友的情感。四、学习策略目标1. 直观学习策略:本堂课通过直观生动的图象(课文插图),声音(课文音频和视频),再现原文,提高学生兴趣,提高课堂效率。2. 活动学习策略:.在热身活动中激发学生的学习兴趣。3. 合作学习策略:通过小组合作学习,培养学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务的能力。五、文化意识目标让学生了解中国传统手工艺品文化特色,激发学生热爱中国传统文化的情感。关注中外餐具使用文化异同,加深对中国文化的理解。
教学重点及难点
一、教学重点1.特殊疑问句:What do you want to make I want to make a crow2.现在进行时:What are you making 3.关于材料的名词:scissors, tape, glue, model house.二、教学难点能根据语境灵活使用一般现在时、现在进行时及一般过去时。能灵活使用各种Wh-questions获取信息。
教学基本策略及设计思路
1.面向全体学生,关注语言学习者的不同特点和个性差异。在整个教学过程中,让每个学生都参与其中。在新授及练习环节中,教师设计了由浅入深的教学活动,让每个学生都参与到课堂中,都能感受到自己的提高,有成就感。2.整体设计目标,充分考虑语言学习的语用环境,在单词、句型的学习环节中,我先让学生们整体感知语言材料。然后以手工作品为中心,每组采用不同的方式来突破教学重难点。3.强调学习过程,重视语言学习的实践性和应用性。教师在整个教学中,设置真实的语境,主张学生在语境中接触、体验和理解真实语言,并在此基础上学习和运用语言。形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习能力。
资源的开发及说明
本节课我将教材资源、课堂资源、多媒体资源和网络资源进行了整合与优化,使本节课更加的有效、高效。1. 教材资源本节课的选材比较贴近学生实际、贴近学生生活,保证了教学内容与学生身边生活的相联系,使教学内容更具现实的影响力。2. 课堂资源整节课认真贯彻了“以生为本”的教学理念,充分利用身边可利用的学生资源,让学生之间互教、互学、互助。同时在教学过程中,常常会发生一些随机事件,我也进行了及时的捕捉,有效利用,巧妙转化,开发成为课堂教学中的动态生成性资源。3. 多媒体资源充分利用多媒体资源,精心制作了学生喜爱的课件,使学生参与课堂的积极性提高。4. 网络资源在网上筛选与本节课相关的辅助资料,使课堂更加精彩,有深度。
