教材分析：
本教材是根据国家教育部颁发的《英语课程标准》，以牛津大学出版社的原版教材为基础，由上海市中小学课程教材改革委员会改编的一套教材。教材是按照模块体系编写的。它的特点是：单元内容围绕模块主题，而不同年级的模块又复现同一主题内容。模块—单元体系为外语学习创造了复现、循环、发展、提高的学习条件，符合外语学习的基本规律。
学情分析：
六年级学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础，听说单词对他们而言较容易。课文对话较长，需要多读才能上口并且读得流利。本单元的话题贴近学生生活，他们非常感兴趣，愿意谈论体育课和运动。
Teaching Aims(教学目标):
1. 能在语境中正确运用本课的核心词汇：high jump, long jump, long race,short race, win
2. 能熟练使用核心句型介绍体育课的基本情况：
What’s your favorite activity in your PE lessons
I like ......
We have two PE lessons at school every week.
I’m good at playing basketball.
3. 能用合适的句型介绍自己和他人喜欢的运动。
4. 初步了解体育课的基本情况知识，培养学生热爱体育、热爱生活。
Teaching Importances and Difficulties (教学重难点)：
1. 能在语境中适当的运用本课的核心词汇和句型。
2. 能用合适的句型介绍体育课的基本情况，培养热爱体育运动和热爱生活的情感。

Teaching Procedures(教学过程)：
StepⅠ.Warm up and revision（热身与复习）
1. Sing a song. What do you like (本环节运用视频播放英文歌曲，目的是创设英语的语言环境和学习氛围，提示今日所学的主要内容，复习以前学过的相关内容。用到的信息技术就是电子白板播放视频。教学效果更加形象直观和生动。)
2. Do some warming-up exercises.---Free talk 通过看图和视频猜本校的体育老师宋老师来唤起学生们的好奇心和学习热情。此处用到电子白板播放宋老师玩转篮球和跳高的视频，来唤起学生们的兴趣和崇拜之情）
Step Ⅱ.Presentation and practice（呈现新语言知识和练习）

T: Ok everybody. let’s come to the new lesson. Guess please. It’s an activity that people try to jump as long as possible.

Step Ⅳ.Consolidation（拓展延伸）
Do a survey and give a report in groups.
