Main task Step 1: PresentationT: Do you like shopping When do you usually go shopping Could you tell us something about it Where is it Is it near a bus stop or a taxi rank How many floors are there What’s on each floor Ss:-----Step 2: Read and answer(part A)Ask Ss to read the notes about Sunnyside Shopping Mall and answer the following questions: What’s the location of the mall How many floors are there What shops are they What else are they Step 3: Fill in the blanks(part B)Ask Ss to complete the article about Sunnyside Shopping Mall according to the notes in part A. Then check the answers.Step 4: Read and explainAsk Ss to read the article by themselves and underline some language points. Explain the language points to them. Ask Ss to read the article, then ask and answer questions in pairs according to the article.Step 5: Look and say (part C) 1. Show the picture in part C to Ss, ask them to ask and answer questions in pairs. What is the shopping mall called Where is the mall 2. Ask some Ss to introduce the shopping mall orally.Step 6: ProductionAsk Ss to write some notes about Star Shopping Mall first, and then write their own articles using the notes.Check out Step 1: Revision Ask Ss to talk about their ideal shopping malls.Step 2: Presentation Ask students to look at the pictures in Part A.
