（一）指示代词this、 that、 these及those的用法
1.表示“这个”、“那个”、“这些”、“那些”等指示概念的代词叫指示代词。指示代词分单数（this/that）和复数（these/those）两种形式，既可作限定词又可作代词，如：
单数 限定词 This girl is Mary.
代词 This is Mary.
复数 限定词 Those men are my teachers.
代词 Those are my teachers.
2.this、these是指时间或空间上较近的人或事物。that、those是指时间或空间上较远的人或事物。如：
This is my sister Helen.That is my brother Peter.
这是我的姐姐海伦。那是我的哥哥彼得。
These are my friends.Those are my parents.
这是我的朋友们。那是我的父母。
3.回答this或that作主语的疑问句时，要用it代替this或that。当these或those作疑问句的主语时，答语要用they来代替these或those。如：
—Is this your eraser？这是你的橡皮吗？
—No， it isn’t.不，它不是。
—Are those your teachers？
那些是你的老师吗？
—Yes， they are./No， they aren’t.

【注意】
（1）介绍某人时应该说“This is …”。如：

（二）可数名词复数的规则变化
1.一般情况下词尾加-s。如：
