一.教学内容:
本课选自小学英语《开心学英语》教材中五年级下册Unit 3 《On Vacation》中的“Story”。本课的教学对象为五年级学生,学生经过了两年多的英语学习,已具备了一定的听、说、读、写的能力。
本课的中心教学内容为《On Vacation》,在学习本课之前,学生已学习书本29页的单词,且对“度假”这个话题有了初步的概念。本单元主要是教学有关将来计划做某事的话题,它承接上一单元,也就是Unit 2 Vacation Plans.这一单元的延续。本课时是本单元的第一课时,在整本书中起到承上启下的作用。
二.学生分析:
生理学家的研究成果表明,十一、二 岁的儿童(五年级学生),高级神经中枢兴奋性强,思维过程灵活性大,因而活泼、好动、好奇、好新,求知欲旺盛,但神经功能发展还不够完善,易于疲劳。中,高年级学生接触英语不久,都感到新鲜、好奇,都很想学好英语 。我们对学生这种求知的好奇心应当很好地引导,以新激趣,使学生对英语的好奇心变成其喜爱英语学习的原动力。本学期的前面两个单元学习了用一般将来时be going to制定计划、交流假期计划的具体活动、去的地点及交通方式等,本单元是它们的拓展与延伸。
三.教学目标:
依据新课标提出的语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略、和文化意识等五个目标,结合本人对教材的理解和学生原有的语言水平,本人设定了本节课的教学目标:
1.语言目标: 复习掌握句型:I’m going to …./ Are you going to … 短语:have a picnic/visit relatives/help dad/take photos/play with friends/make models/surf the Internet/read some books
单词:vacation/during/the Great Wall of China/ do Tai Chi
2.能力目标:培养学生的创新能力,统筹运用知识的能力,发散思维的能力。
3.情感目标:培养学生的兴趣和积极态度,树立学习英语的信心,努力克服害羞和焦虑的心理,能够与同学相互交流、相互鼓励。
四.教学重难点:
1. 本单元的重点词汇是三会单词:during;四会单词及词组:next, have a picnic, visit relatives, help Dad, play with friends, make models, surf the Internet, read books,除了during, next, picnic, relatives是新词外,其余的均在以前作为三会呈现过,重点句型是:What are you going to do during the vacation? I am going to surf the Internet. What are you going to do I’m going to read some books. 难点在于熟练掌握Vocabulary板块的四会词组以及Target板块句型的正确运用。
2.正确理解书本故事以及创作新故事。
3.能够在实践交际中活学活用所学的知识。
五.单元设计整体思路和依据
本单元教学以“On Vacation”为主题,以与学生生活密切相关的“假期”为主线贯穿始终。依据课程标准的要求和根据本单元知识内容特点,本单元教学需要四个课时,第一个课时主要是学习新词汇和句型,第二个课时主要是学习故事,第三个课时主要是进行精读教学,第四课时是语音教学和泛读教学。根据学生的年龄特点,主要采用情景交际法,任务型教学法,对话教学法,游戏教学法和小组合作等方法来开展教学活动。通过本单元的学习,使学生合理利用个人时间,有计划地完成自己的事情,达到学以致用。
六.教学准备:CAI, Pictures, Some exercises, Cards for sentence-structures
七.教学过程:
Step1: warm up and free talk.
1)Greeting.
2)Free talk: Who’s on duty today /What’s the weather like today ...
To lead to the topic “On Vacation” and write down on the blackboard.
3)Ask a question :Do you know what Miss Guo is going to do during the May day in 2018 And lead to the patterns: What are you going to do during the vacation I’m going to …复习旧知,值日生话题更为本课的新知做铺垫。通过师生问候对话自然过渡到新课的学习中
4)Play a guessing game.通过课件为师生,生生的活动中创设情景,并由具体形象的图象的提问来引导学生的发散思维
Step2 : Presentation.
1)There’s a story about vacation between Gogo and Jenny. Let’s have a look. Listen to the story(听故事)Jenny’s and Gogo’s vacation
2)Listen again and read after it.
3)Then complete the story.
4)Try to retell the story. Work in groups. Invite some groups to retell the story.

Step3: Practice.
帮助学生拓展与延伸所学内容,并结合教学内容进行情感教育。
1)Introduce a girl to them, she’s Zhao Liying, She send an e-mail to me, and ask them to read it and finish the exercises on their i-pad.
2)Show out my another three friends, they are TF boys. There’s a wechat between us, but there are some pictures in it, ask them to help me to understand them.
3)Let’s check the answers and read it.
Step4: Expansion.
1)Try to be a good stories designer. Each group has an envelope, there’re some pictures in it, choose some they like and stick on the paper, then try to design a new story.
2)Take a photo by using their i-pad when they finished. To share their stories. Praise them if they do a good job.
Step5: The emotional education. There’re four pictures here ,please talk about them. Then tell me they’re good or not good
Step6: Assign homework.
巩固、拓展延伸本课知识,使学生创造性运用所学语言。
1)Act out the story with your partners.
2)Make a plan for May Day with your parents.
