第2课时 Look and find & Play a game
教学内容
Look and find& Read aloud and match the pictures 学生能够通过观察图片、谈论对话部分的图片,理解对话大意。学生能够按正确的意群和语音、语调朗读对话。学生能够按要求完成图文配对等任务,并能观察图片,提取图片中隐藏的信息。
Play a game 学生能够根据实际情况,互相熟练问答1~3单元所学的核心句型。
教学目标
语言知识目标
1. 复习描述他人外貌和性格特点的常用词汇和句型。
2. 复习表示建议的句型“Let’s…/ Let me…”。
3. 学生能够在情境中,识别句子描述所对应的图片,完成图文配对任务。

1. 学生能够在情境中,熟练运用核心词汇和句型,描述他人的外貌特征和性格特点。
2. 学生能够在情境中,熟练运用表示建议的核心句型。

教学过程
Step 1: Review
1. Greetings.
2. Review
T: We have many friends in our life. And we have learned how to describe a friend. So let’s include it. How to describe a friend
Name
T: We can introduce one’s name. Use the sentences: “He is / She is ... or His name / Her name is ...”
Personality
T: We can say something about one’s personality. We use the structure of sentence : “He is / She is ...” add the words after. For example, friendly, quiet, cute, cool, funny and etc.
Apperance
T: We also can talk about one’s appearance. We can talk about it using : “He/She is ...(tall/ short/ thin/ strong ...)” or “He/ She has ... (long/short hair, ... glasses, ... shoes, ... bag ...)”
(先以复习归纳的方式,帮助学生把零散的知识点综合在一起,为接下来的内容做铺垫,让学生心里有个知识框架)
Step 2: Look and find
Let’s talk
T: Sarah has some friends. Look at their names, please tell me about their names.
(承接着复习内容,抛出介绍name的两个句型1. He/ She is + name 2. His/ Her name is + name)
S1: He is Fred.
S2: Her name is Kate.
S3: His name is Ben.
S4: She is Ann.

T: The friends have different personality and appearance too. Let’s make a guess. Who is he or she
I have a good friend. He’s quiet. He’s tall. He has glasses. Who is he (He’s Fred.)
I have a good friend. She’s friendly. She’s thin and tall. She has brown shoes. Who is she (She is Kate.)
I have a good friend. He’s short. He has a blue bag. He has black shoes. Who is he (He is Ben.)
I have a good friend. She’s quiet. She has long hair. She has orange shoes. Who is she (She is Ann.)
(Tips: 提醒学生要留意描述的句子中关键的信息词,这些特征词会区分出人物。)
Step 3: Read aloud and match the pictures
1)Let’s do
T: Let’s look at these pictures. Let’s do as it asks us to do. And say out the phrases loudly.
(一起跟着图片做动作,并且大声说出其对应的词组,复习一下第1单元的重要词组。)
2)Let’s find
T: Look at these two pictures, what can you see from the pictures
S1: clean the blackboard, clean the desks (第一幅图片)
S2: schoolbag, an English book, and three storybooks (第二幅图片)
(引导学生把图片中的信息先读懂,从图片中提取一些有用的信息。)
T: How about these two pictures What are the differences
S1: John, Mike
S2: a new students
(图3和图4都有3个人物,还有一个重要的区别就是站的距离远近)
Let’s match
T: Let’s read the two dialogues, and choose the correct pictures for them.
(学生读对话,并选择合适的图片)
Let’s read
T: Let’s listen to the tape and read after it. Try to imitate it.
(播放录音,学生跟读,并且模仿其语音语调)
Step 4: Play a game
T: Look, it’s a mountain. Let’s have a game. Fast ask and answer in 15 seconds. Who can answer more correctly who will win.
(快问快答游戏,要考验学生对重点核心问句的熟练程度)
