Lesson55 Look into the future
一、语篇研读
What:本单元是冀教版九年级英语的第十单元。本课是该单元的第一课Lesson55 Look into the Future。本课以“展望未来”为题,围绕几名学生讨论未来的梦想这一话题展开,其语言知识和技能都紧紧围绕这一话题。本课的内容以对话形式展现,学生在一种轻松愉悦的氛围中,通过目标语言 What do you want to be when you grow up Why do you want to be that What will you do if you want to make your dream come true 进行问答,从而了解本文的知识结构。它既复习了我们学过的知识内容,也锻炼了学生的交际能力和口语表达能力。
Why:本着语言应用为主,却不失听、说、读、写能力的培养;以畅谈理想为线给与学生展示自己思想的舞台;追求简洁明快,轻松流利的语言表达交流情景。
How:本篇文章采用了对话的形式,先是通过图片展示,学生说出图片中每个人的工作,并借用 What do you want to be when you grow up I want to be ... 等句型问答。学生通过相互问答熟练运用所学句型,并通过展示对话和小文章达到所学为所用的目的。
二、教学目标
通过本课的学习,学生能够:
能听懂并能够运用本课所学到的英语词汇及短语。
2、能熟练运用目标语言What do you want to be when you grow up Why do you want to be that What will you do if you want to make your dream come true 进行问答,来展示自己的梦想。
3、明确自己的人生目标,并愿意为之付出努力。

【设计意图】以学过的话题导入本课,配合找单词的游戏形式,激发学生表达的欲望,调动学生学习积极性。

Step2:Role-play the conversation
Role-play the conversation in groups and then in front of the class。

Steven wants to be an ________. He wants to invent something that won’t harm the environment. Kate likes ________ meals and enjoys trying different kinds of food.
