三、教学过程
Step1: Warm up and lead in
Enjoy speech of a great man that we spent together to arouse the students’ interest of learning. Next time is free talk, asking a few questions for students to answer.
Eg:
1.How did you do in junior high school
2.What will you say to your classmates when you graduate
3.What is your most unforgettable memory from junior high school

Step2: new words
Show some pictures, make some sentences and know the new words and phrase:peech,period,valuable,achieve,behalf,congratulation

honour n. 光荣,荣誉,荣幸
v. 尊重,给予表扬( 头衔、称号等)
honour作名词时,常用的词组为 in honour of...“为向……表示敬意”。
A temple was built in honour of the brave dragon .
honour作动词时,常用的短语为be honoured with... “被授予……”。
e.g. He was honoured with a knighthood for his scientific work.
他因科研成就被授予爵士头衔。

valuable在句中可用作定语,也可用作表语,用作表语时,可与介词to或for 连用,to 后接人,for 后接目的。
valuable 的名词形式是value,意为“价值”。常用短语: of great value 很有价值的
e.g. His advice is of great value to me.
他的建议对我很有价值。

on behalf of 一般后接名词或者名词性短语。
e.g. On behalf of our company, I would like to welcome you here.

你们所有人都会有生活中这个阶段的美好记忆,我也是。
如果后者的情况也适用于前者可用句式:so + 助动词、系词、情态动词 + 主语;如果前面的陈述句是否定形式,则用neither 或nor 替代so。
e.g. She has finished her homework and so have I.
她已经完成作业了,我也完成了。
