单元分析： 本单元谈论的话题是周末活动，主要内容是通过学习活动类词组和表示频率的副词，以及一般现在时句型 “What do you/they do at weekends? I/They alwaysusuallyoftensometimes...” “What does he/she do at weekends? He/She alwaysusuallyoftensometimes . . .”来谈论自己及家人的周末活动。
单元课时安排：
第一课时：教学Story time，学习谈论活动的词汇、句型和表示频率的副词，并初步运用；
第二课时：教学Grammar time，掌握一般现在时中特殊疑问句及陈述句的结构，了解动词第三人称单数的构成规则，正确描述自己及他人的周末活动；
第三课时：教学Cartoon time&Sound time&Culture time，进行趣味阅读，综合运用本单元所学，并学习辅音字母s在单词中的发音，了解不同国家流行的体育运动；
第四课时：教学Fun time&Checkout time&Ticking time，通过游戏、调查汇报及写作训练的形式，进行单元复习和评价。

（二）学情分析：
本节课的教学对象是本校五（3）班的学生。在之前的学习中，学生已经掌握了一些表示活动的动词短语，并对动词的第三人称单数形式及do和does的用法有了一定的了解。同时，在本单元第一课时，学生学习了Mike与Su Hai之间的对话，已经初步掌握了如何用一般现在时的句子来谈论周末的活动，并对程度副词always/usually/often/sometimes有了一定的了解。

教师以谈论自己的周末活动为例，引导学生谈论自己的周末活动到谈论他人的周末活动，由第一二人称转为第三人称单数， 从学生的谈论中收集资源，便于学生总结语法点。
引导学生通过板书呈现的句子，小组讨论总结一般现在时中特殊疑问句及陈述句的结构。掌握动词第三人称单数的构成规则。
通过谈论班级里三位同学的周末活动，操练句型 “What does…do at weekends? He/She always/usually/often/sometimes….” 同时巩固频率副词的使用。
