1. terrible adj. 可怕的; 糟糕的
指某种事物造成极度的恐惧和令人不安的感觉, 通常不用于形容人。在日常英语里, 它通常用来表示事情很糟糕、很差。
e.g. What terrible weather! There was a terrible noise on the bus, so the bus driver stopped the bus immediately.
2. medicine n. 药;药物
常用来作药物的总称。
medicine既可作可数名词,也可作不可数名词。
常见短语: take medicine(s) 服药

3. lie v. 躺, 平卧; 位于

lie的-ing形式是lying,过去式是lay。
