That was the result of a big change in my life! I am from Hong Kong, China and I am here in England to study. Why My English is not good enough and my parents think that I enjoy too much of their care. So they want me to improve my English and learn to live independently in England.
Time flies. This is my second month in the school and I'm already able to notice the differences between the new school and my old school. My new school is like a big garden, beautiful and comfortable, while my school in Hong Kong only had some tall buildings and sports fields. There were about two thousand students in my old school, while only about five hundred students are in Redland. The classes are smaller here and I can hear what the teachers say more clearly in class. The weather is different as well. Here I saw snow for the first time. I really enjoyed making a snowman and playing in the snow with my friends at the school.
What's more, I am very impressed (印象深刻的) with the kind people in England. When I need help, I can always get a helping hand. I am also surprised at how polite they are. When I go home one day, I'm afraid I will miss my friends and teachers here.

In the past, the High Line was a railway line and it ran over the streets of Manhattan. The railway line closed in the 1980s and people didn't use it any more. In 1999, Joshua David and Robert Hammond had an idea to turn the old railway line into a park. Then the High Line Park opened in 2009. The park is now a beautiful place, high above the busy city streets. Many school students visit the park on school trips. Teenagers (青少年) there help to look after the park and learn about plants. Sam Watts said, “New York City can be very noisy and the park is a quiet place and I can relax there.”
After the success of the High Line, the people of New York City are now building the Lowline. This park isn't up high above the streets. It's under the ground. People are turning an old trolley (电车) station into a park. There isn't much green space near the station, so the park is great for the people living near the station. People want to use new technology (技术) to get sunshine (阳光) under the ground. How creative (有创造力的)!

It's polite for you to start talking only after you finish it. Third, try not to make noises when you eat your soup. Fourth, it's not polite to point at others with your chopsticks. When you finish eating, place them on your bowl. Remember not to stick the chopsticks into your food.
I hope you can enjoy your dinner.
Yours,
Li Ming
