教学目标：
知识能力：会认读书中单词，给单词分类,对已学单词进行复习和巩固.
过程方法：歌曲导入；师生共同回忆单词；单词分类；纠正发音。
情感态度价值观：
确保学生在第四年英语学习的开始有积极和轻松的心态。
通过歌曲教学，使孩子们在艺术的陶冶中得到英语表现的美感。
教学重点 ：10组单词和词组归类，复习所学的部分内容。
教学难点 ： 在有范例的情况下，学生可以独立对已学的单词进行分类
教具、学具准备： 单词卡片，歌曲磁带。
教学过程 ：
Step 1：Warming up.
1. Greetings
2. Sing the song “ The Crazy Join In Rock”.
Step2：Categories.
1. 用memory game让学生回忆 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )单词：给学生10~15秒钟看P4单词，看后合上书，尽量回忆自己看到的单词,在小组内交流，再在班上交流。

把学生分成四个大组，点学生分别说记得的关于 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )动物的单词，一组点一个同学说，如果说的动物的单词书中含有，就把该单词写在该组下面，如果不含，那组就空白，最后看哪个组留下的单词多，那组就得一分。
同样方法引出十个种类的单词。
1. Read the words one by one.
2. 让学生独立做练习
3. 在黑板上写下种类的名称，并解释种类的含义。
Step3：Practice

The Ss try to ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) find the corret word,cake,repeat with other categories and words for some times.Later,you may want to ask a Ss to take over your role.Finally,get the pupils to play the game in pairs.
Step4：Find the rhyming pairs.
1. 请学生翻开书P5，书上写 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )出了哪两个单词？单词leg 和 egg 的图片旁都有绿色三角形符号，这说明它们可以配成一对。可是腿和鸡蛋有什么联系呢？让学生自己认真读读这两个单词，找出两者之间的联系。这两个单词的词尾音素是相同的:leg 和 egg ,词尾音素都是/eg/ 像leg 和egg 这样词尾音素重复，在英语里叫做尾韵。
2. 老师在黑板上指单词：flag，让学生大声朗读，并想想还有哪些单词的尾韵和flag一样的：如：bag
3. 再举例：floor-door，box-fox, book-look, 等,让学生充分理解尾韵。
4. 学生大声朗读黄色框里的单词，纠正他们的发音。
5. 学生先填单词，再根据尾韵添画符号。
6. 全班反馈，注意学生的发音和书写。

Step1:Warm up

Step2：Presentation

Play the sound of ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) cow and ask Ss to guess what it is— “cow”. (Show picture.)
② Show “ Toby”

T: Ride a cow!!!（投影出示骑牛运动简介）Is Toby crazy
T: Toby rides a cow不说，还要招摇过市，through the street.!(出示street)
T:正当Toby rides through the street,他看见了谁？Who does Toby see
2 情景表演：
教师请一个同学当警察，自己扮演 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )TOBY，当自己骑着牛大摇大摆的穿过街道时，碰到了警察，警察吹一声哨，示意TOBY停下，但TOBY不但不停，还朝警察一个飞吻，招手离开。

4 表演2遍，找学生上台表演警察和TOBY。
5 教师带学生依次表演情景剧。

Step4:Learn to sing the song.
T：Toby带来了一首动感十足 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )的摇滚乐歌曲：The Crazy Join In Rock. What does Rock mean？
Play the song. Ss listen to it and look on P3.
Play the song again.圈出歌中第三段不认识的单词。
教师出示bake这个单词，告诉学生 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ake发|k|.引导学生举一反三，根据拼读规律拼出尾韵相同的三个其它单词snake,shake,break.
教师带读歌词一遍，并加上动作。
Learn to sing the song follow the tape for several times.
Sing the song and do the actions together.
Step5:Homework
1. 背诵该歌曲，家长签字。
2．自由寻找合作伙伴，练习表演chant，下节课展示。
