显然Nicola并不喜欢这里。她喜欢在户外运动场play grounds活动，她还喜欢在超大规模购物中心shopping mall里逛。可是这里没有shopping mall没有play grounds也没有TV。Nicola是这样说的：There are no ... 这个句子里的no 不是Yes 的反义词，它的意思是没有。
正因为这里没有Nicola 喜欢的东西，Nicola 认为这里很没趣、很无聊。她是这样说的It’s boring. 西方人经常使用这样的句子对事物进行评价。如：It’s interesting很有趣、有意思。It’s funny很可笑、很滑稽。It’s great棒极了，非常好。接下来的几天grandad给Nicola安排了丰富多彩的活动。他们去钓鱼go fishing 建造拱形圆顶小屋build an igloo 观察北极熊watch the polar bears。Nicola 玩得兴高采烈，一边玩一边说：This is great fun. 这真是太好玩了！这真是太有趣了！

next 是下一个的意思，next year 指明年。又如：next month 下个月next week 下个星期 next day 第二天 next morning 第二天早上。
