一、指导思想与理论依据
《英语课程标准》指出:教师要根据学生年龄特点和认识能力,扩展文化知识的内容和范围,帮助学生拓展视野,提高跨文化交际意识。通过各种教学活动,激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣;注重语言实践,在情景中激发学生主动参与;加强学习策略的指导,培养学生自主学习能力,最终培养学生的综合语言运用能力。基于上述理论,本节课我联系生活实际确定教学内容与教学目标;在对话学习过程中,我设计活动培养学生连贯朗读、听录音提取关键信息的学习策略;同时补充了大量的图片和视频资源,帮助学生理解感恩节的节日特色,丰富学生的文化知识;在拓展活动中我利用制作节日手册的活动,培养学生归纳总结的学习能力。
二、教学背景分析
(一)学生情况分析:本课所教授的对象是三年级学生。他们对英语学习有浓厚的兴趣,表演欲望强烈,乐于表现自己。在二年学生已经学习了New Year’s Day 和Christmas两个节日,本册又学习了National Day,为学生交流节日日期奠定了基础。Thanksgiving, Halloween是在本册第一次出现。根据对学生的访谈得知:大多数人知道Halloween,并了解一些万圣节的特色;但很多学生不知道Thanksgiving是什么节,也不了解这个节日。学生们在本册的第二单元学习了“When is … ” “It’s in … .”的用法,能够熟练运用于日期的表达。(二)教学内容分析: 本课为北京版小学英语三年级上册第七单元的Lesson 23。本课有Listen and say,Listen,look,and learn和Read and match三个教学板块。其中Listen and say板块是对话内容的学习,Listen,look,and learn和Ask and find是词、句的学习。在对话学习板块呈现的是两个连续的情境,Yangyang向美国小朋友Sare询问能否告诉他一些美国节日,Sara告诉Yangyang有万圣节、感恩节和圣诞节。Yangyang又询问Sara是否知道中国节日。对话中提到的Thanksgiving, Halloween单词较长,学生在理解和认读方面都有一定的困难。所以在教学过程中我补充了图片和视频资料辅助学生理解,并加以语音指导,帮助学生正确朗读。对话中的“Can you tell me some of your holidays ”这句话较长,学生在连贯表达上有一点困难,需要教师给学生指导断句、连读等技巧。(三)教学方式与教学手段说明:通过猜谜游戏活跃课堂氛围,调动学生学习的积极性,复习所学月份类词汇,为对话学习做好铺垫;接下来师生交流彼此知道的节日,确定本节课的话题I know some Holidays.在教师引领学习对话一的基础上,放手让学生以完成听力任务的形式自主学习对话二。通过谈论图片、视听对话、分角色朗读、扮演等多种教学活动,让学生在真实的情景中,理解并尝试运用本课的主要功能句型。最后通过完成Handbook的活动,帮助学生自主梳理本节课所学重点知识。(四)教学技术准备: 多媒体电脑、图片、视频、自制PPT课件、头饰、奖励贴
三、教学目标(含重、难点)
【教学重点】 1. 学生能够正确理解对话内容,并能正确朗读对话。 2. 学生能用“Can you tell me some of … ” “Sure. We have … .” “When is … ” “It’s in … .”问答所知道的节日名称和所在月份。 3. 学生能听懂、会说和认读Halloween,Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’ Day等名词,并在实际情境中运用。【教学重点】 问答所知道的节日名称和节日所在的月份。【教学难点】 Thanksgiving的理解与认读。
四、教学过程
Step1: 活动热身,明确本节课的话题。1. 教师描述月份词特征,学生猜出这个月份。T:What’s the tenth month in English Ss:It’s October.
