the superlative degree
最高级
1. 用法：三者或三者以上的事物进行比较时,用形容词或副词的最高级形式来表达。
(1) 句中有of、among、in… ，表示范围比较
(2) the+序数词+形容词最高级+可数名词单数，表示在某一范围内第几长，宽，高等
Tom is the tallest of the three.
Mike is the second tallest student in our class.
Tom runs (the) fastest in our class.
形容词(adj.)、副词(adv.)的最高级
以下几种情况，要使用最高级：
2. 形容词最高级前面必须加定冠词the, 如前面有物主代词或名词所有格，不加定冠词the。
(3) one of +the+形容词最高级+名词复数，表示“最… 之一”
Jack is one of the tallest students in our class.
(4) 疑问词 +... +(the) 形容词/副词最高级，A, B or C

3. 副词最高级前面可加，也可以不加。
