一、常见介词的固定搭配………………
1.与形容词的搭配
be strict with.be proud of be angry with be busy with be good at 等。
2.与动词的搭配
look at arrive in/at look after catch up with come up with be made of/from等。
3.与名词的搭配
at noon on duty.to one's surprise at home in a hurry at work on show in the end 等。
二、易混介词辨析 ………
4.in at.on(表示时间)
表示一段时间，如年、四季、月等的词或 morning、afternoon、evening前用in(但 noon、night前用at);at多用于时间点前，所表示的时间大多比较短暂;on 主要用在星期几,具体某一天,具体某一天的早、午、晚或节日前。
5.in at、on(表示地点)
in用于表示国家、城市等大地方的名词前，还可以表示“在……里面,在某一范围内”; at表示某一点或用于小地点前;on表示“在……上”,强调在某事物的表面。
6.in on、to(表示方位)
in表示在某一地区之内(属于该范围),on表示与某一地区的毗邻关系，to表示在某一地区之外、不接壤的某方位(不属于该范围)。这三者所表示的位置关系恰似数学中圆的“包含(in)、相切(on)、相离(to)”关系。
7.between、among(表示“在……之间”)
between 常指“在……(两者)之间”,among用于指“在……(三者或三者以上)之间”。
如果强调三者以上的人或物中的两两之间，也可用 between。
8.across、through(表示“穿过,越过”)
两者都可表示“穿过,越过”。across 强调穿过某一平面，through 表示从某一空间穿过。表示游渡、乘船过海或过河时用across。
9.above.over、on(表示“在……上方”)
above 和 over 都表示“在……上方”。 above指在上方的任意一点，不一定是垂直的正上方，不接触，其反义词是below;over一般指垂直方向的正上方,其反义词是 under。on表示“在……上面”,且互相接触。above 和 below 还可以用来表示海拔、温度等的刻度。
10.since for in after(表示时间)
since后常接时间点，表示“自从……以来”; for后常接时间段，表示动作或状态持续的时间长度;in和after可表示“在……以后”，“in+时间段”常用于将来时,“after+时间段”常用于过去时。after后还可接时间点，用于将来时。
11.in with by(表示手段、方式)
in 主要表示用语言、声音或某种材料等， with表示用具体有形的工具、器官，by表示使用的方法、手段等。
12.during、by、until(表示时间)
during意为“在……期间”;by意为“不迟于……”,其所在句子的谓语多用非延续性动词;until用于否定句中，句子谓语多用非延续性动词，音为“到……才……”用
在肯定句中意为“直到……为止”,句子谓语须用延续性动词。
13.but、except、besides.except for(表示“除……之外”)
but表示“除……之外”，常与有否定意义的词连用;except表示“除……之外(不再有)”,指从整体中排除一部分人或物，前面常有 all、every、any no等词;besides表示“除……之外(还有)”,其前常有 other、 another the other any other a few等词; except for 意为“除……之外”，表示对某种情况进行具体的、细节方面的修正，被除去的部分和主语通常不是同一类。14.其他常见介词
除上述易混介词之外，其他常见的介词还有without“没有”、about“关于”、with“和;用”、before“在……之前”、after“在……之后”、around“在……周围”、because of“因为”、instead of“代替”等。另外，常用介词 in on to除表示时间、方位以外，还有很多用法,做题时要根据具体的语境来选择相应的介词。
