《美国偶像》（American Idol）是美国福克斯广播公司（FOX）的一档美国大众歌手选秀娱乐节目，其原型是英国电视节目《流行偶像》（Pop Idol）。节目首播于2002年，每年一季，英语称作season（季），目的是发掘新一代的美国歌手，获得当季冠军的选手即为当年度的美国偶像，获得一纸价值百万美元的唱片合约。FOX电视宣布2016年播出的第15季美国偶像是该节目的最终季，这档辉煌全美15载的老牌选秀节目彻底落下帷幕。
