在美国,学校的一楼都设有一个布告栏。如果有学生丢了或捡到了什么东西,他们会在布告栏上贴上纸,让别人知道发生了什么事情。美国的许多公共场所或公园都设有失物招领处 “Lost and Found Office”。如果你捡到不属于你的东西,你可以把它交到失物招领处。失主可直接与之联系,取回他们丢失的东西。

in 为介词, 意为 “在……里”, 表示方位的。
e.g. in the classroom 在教室里

3. Some keys are in Classroom 7E. 一些钥匙在7E教室里。
some 意为 “一些;若干”, 用来修饰复数可数名词或不可数名词。e.g.
some books “一些书” some boys “一些男孩”
some water “一些水” some tea “一些茶叶”
some一般用在肯定句和期待对方给予肯定答复的疑问句中, 在否定句和其它疑问句中, 要用any代替。
These are some books . 这是一些书。
These aren’t any books . 这不是一些书。
Are these any books 这是一些书吗?

(1) e-mail
a. 名词 [C] “电子邮件”;

b. 动词 “给……发电子邮件” 。

(2) at prep. 在此为 “按照…”的意思, 用来提供电话号码或邮件地址。e.g. Call Mary at 236-0388. 请拨打236-0388找玛丽。
at 还可表示时间, 用于时刻前, 译为 “在...时(刻)。e.g.
at three o’clock 在三点 at 3:15 在三点十五分
at 还可用来表示地点, 一般用于较小的地方前, in指较大的地方, 译为 “在......”。e.g. at home 在家 at the station 在车站
at 还可表示处于......状态, 译为 “从事于......”。 e.g.
at school 在上学 at work 在工作
(3) “e-mail sb. at + 地址”
“按照…地址给某人发电子邮件”
e.g. E-mail Mary at maryg2@.

“e-mail ... to + 地址”以电子邮件形式发送...至...
e.g. Email your views to sport@times.co.uk。

5. I lost my school ID card.
lost 为lose的过去式和过去分词, 可以作形容词使用, 意思是 “丢失的, 失去的”。e.g.
He is looking for his lost book.他正在寻找丢失的书。
lose vt. “丢失; 失败”, 其反义词是 find。
I lost my wallet yesterday and I haven't found it yet.
我昨天丢了钱包,现在还没有找到。
6. I must find it.
must 意思是 “必须,应当”, 为情态动词, 没有时态和
人称变化, 后接动词原形在句中共同构成谓语。e.g.
You must finish it today. 你必须在今天完成它。
You must see the doctor. 你一定要看医生。
find 动词, 意为 “找到, 发现”。其过去式和过去分词为found, 可作形容词, 意思为“找到的,拣到的”。
The found book in my hand is yours.
在我手里这本拣到的书是你的。
find 与 look for
二者都有 “找 ”的意思,但含义不同。
① find “找到”, 强调 “找” 的结果。
② look for “寻找”, 强调 “找”的动作和过程。
I’m looking for my watch, but can’t find it.
我在找我的手表,但是找不到。
7. Call me at 685-6034.
call 动词, 在此句中意为 “打电话”, 常用于以下结构:
① call sb. “给某人打电话”
e.g. Call him this afternoon. 今天下午给他打电话。
② call + 电话号码 “拨打……(号码)”
e.g. Please call 110. 请拨打110。
③ call sb. at + 电话号码 “拨打…(号码)给某人打电话”
e.g. Call Mary at 236-0388. 请拨打236-0388找玛丽。
