课标分解 1.能通过听对话,选择或说出对话的主题、记录交通事故等关键信息; 2.能通过阅读对话,找出对话中的交通事故的起因、经过及提出的相应建议等信息;能选出或说出对话的主要内容; 3. 能在语境中猜出生词的意思,不妨碍听和阅读的理解。
语篇 研读 【what】语篇围绕生活中常见的交通事故展开,介绍了 Ms James 在课堂和学生谈论目睹的一起交通事故, 以此教育学生要遵守交通规则。 【why】通过 Ms James目睹事故发生的感受及对事故的描述,向学生传递 了遵守交通规则的重要性,尤其是在过马路和骑自行车的时候尤其要警惕 潜在的危险。文本旨在传递安全无小事的价值观。 【how】是一段师生之间的对话,总共 6 轮,展示了事前、事中、事后目 击者及当事人的行为和感受。在描述事故时采用一般过去时和过去进行时, 描述事发现场时用 while 、when 引导的时间状语。在描述得出的教训时使 用祈使句,表面遵守交通规则的重要性。
学情 分析 已知点:(1)年龄特点:八年级学生多为14岁青少年,已经有了关于交通事故的直接或间接生活经验,对其应对方式有一定的了解; (2) 语言基础水平:在词汇上有一定积累;第七模块已经学习了简单句的过去进行时,学生对过去进行时的结构已经有了一定的认识, 能够运用简单的过去进行时描述过去正在进行的动作,为本模块学习when/while引导的主从复合句的过去进行时打下基础;八年级学生对日常对话的训练较多,也较为熟悉交通事故这一话题; 障碍点:对含有主从复合句的长句听力训练相对较少,本课的听力内容对学生来说有一定难度;在听和阅读的过程中,克服生词障碍、猜测词义的能力还有待提高。 突破措施:进行听前扫清障碍和方法指导,点拨泛听、精听等听力技巧,问题设计由易到难,层层递进
学习 目标 通过本课时学习,学生能够: 1.在语境中猜测意思并认读下列词汇:pale, appear, round, corner, hit, glad, risk, pay attention, in time, fall off, side by side;听辨并使用过去进行时 2. 通过多层听,获取相关的关键信息,准确了解这起交通事故的时间、地点、起因、经过并能概述对话,提出相应建议。 3. 通过阅读问题和小组讨论,知道如何避免交通事故, 认识到遵守交通规则、保护自身安全的重要性 4. 阅读对话获取细节信息并借助提示表格概述对话主要内容。
