Analysis of the Teaching Material 本节课是该单元第三课时，以听说训练为主。进一步拓展Section A的话题,在前面几种电视节目的基础上，补充了四种电影类型，还呈现了描述这些节目和电影类型的形容词，为后面的听力对话做好词汇准备。听力内容围绕“电视节目”和“电影”两个话题进行，继续谈论喜好和计划，并使用形容词进一步深人讨论不同的电视节目和电影类型，让学生体会目标语言在真实语境中的综合运用。
Analysis of the Students 经过Section A的学习,学生对于各类电视和电视节目的名称有了初步的认识，有了一定的语言学习能力与语言感知能力
。一方面学生学习英语的积极性比较高，学生对于“电视节目”这一话题已经非常熟悉，在此基础上扩充了有关电影类型的词汇，并且呈现了一部分描述性词语新知识在已有知识的基础上逐步地扩展和延伸，循序渐进，有助于学生的理解和接受。另一方面学生在学习上出现了分化现象，部分学生掌握不牢固，可以分层次记忆与操练，要求他们尽量借助已有信息进行操练，所以作为老师要鼓励学生积极学习，激发学生学习兴趣。通过各种方式对新句型与新单词进行反复大量的操练达到掌握目标语言的目的。逐步养成良好的学习习惯。

Step 1Lead-in Greeting.T shows some TV shows and asks Ss to give their opinions using the structure“What do you think of…？”T plays video to show some types/genres(类型) of movies.Brain Storm. T shows some pictures of movies and asks: What kind of movie do you like to watch best 回顾有关电视节目看法的句型观看视频:了解电影节目类型头脑风暴，看谁能说出电影节目类型 回顾以前的电视节目类型，发表看法。利用视频，引入电影节目类型。通过游戏方式，熟悉电影类型，进一步活跃课堂气氛。
Step 2Pre-listening Go through 1a. T asks: What do you think of these TV shows and movies T lets Ss read the word in 1a and choose words from the box and write them under the pictures. then asks 1 or 2 students to give answers.T asks Ss to choose the words from the box and talk to his/her partner. 学生运用所给的描述性形容词完成1a任务单。学生运用形容词讨论电影的看法。 通过对1a图片和词汇匹配，为1b听力做词汇准备。通过对1a讨论，为1b听力做词汇准备。
Step 3While-listening T leads Ss to pay attention to the Adjectives in 1a. Go through 1b. T plays the record and let Ss circle the description words who hear in the box in 1a. Step 5Language Points Explanation 1..meaningless由“meaning(n.意思）+-less(形容词后缀）”构成，反义词为meaningful“有意义的”。She thinks that sentence is meaningless.What he said seemed to be meaningful. -less是常见的形容词后缀，常加在名词后，表示“无；没有”。常见由“名词+后缀-less”构成的形容词如下。I like to watch action movies because they’re exciting. 2.我喜欢看动作片因为它们令人激动。本句是一个含有原因状语从句的复合句, 句中because作连词, 意为“因为; 由于”, 表示因果关系, 引导原因状语从句, 也常用于回答why引导的特殊疑问句。 将知识点做好笔记。 将本课重点汇总系统的进行讲解和分析，结合典例，帮助学生形成语言体系。

2.学生对功能句的理解尚可，但运用起来还易混淆，需给予学生更多操练应用的机会。
