一、教材分析
小学《新标准英语》每一模块都以故事为线索 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )，比较适合小学生的生理、心理特点。本课涉及到的故事是两个女孩到动物园参观，看到几种动物并进行描述的故事，有一定的可操作性和情境设置性。
二、教学目标：
1、知识技能目标
（1）在课件帮助下和教师的讲述中能初步整体感知故事大意；
（2）在理解课文大意的基础上学习如何描述动物
（3）能够理解：snake、short、small、elephant、go、zoo、long、giraffe、tall、tiger。
（4）能够初步运用：short、small、long、tall
2 、能力目标
（1）能够听、说、读出所学习的词汇；
（2）能够用形容词描述动物的特征
3 、情感态度目标
通过学习讨论动物，培养学生爱护动物的意识。
三、学情分析：
一年级学生接触了一个多学期的英语,有一定的 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )英语基础,且学习积极性较高，但是注意力集中的时间短而且语言运用能力不强.因此要注意培养学生的学习积极性，同时还要培养学生用英语思维的能力。

3、 任务呈现
There is a pl ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ace .There are many animals.Do you know where is it 利用谜语的形式呈现出第二部分课文内容，同时学习单词zoo和句子Let’s go to the zoo.
4、 课文学习

3、 Lingling Amy 看见了什么动物？有什么特征？
4、 学习单词snake、long、short，句子These snakes sre short\ long.

8、 再次播放录音，请学生边听边模仿课文对话。
