教学目标
能力目标：能够运用功能句“What ar ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )e they They’re cows \ chickens \ ducks .”来询问描述农场中动 物们的英文名称。
知识目标：1、掌握cow \ chicke ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )n \ duck \ pig \ they的正确读音并能正确认读，能听懂会说单词farm \ egg \
2、能够正确认读功能句并能正确运用单词和功能句谈论农场里的小动物。
情感态度目标：激发学生学习英语的兴趣，提高小组合作学习的能力，激发竞争意识。
教学重难点
重点：1、了解并掌握单词cow \ chi ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )cken \ duck \ pig的正确读音，知道并听懂会说单词farm \ egg \ they。掌握重点句型 “What are they They’re cows \ chickens \ ducks .”
2、知道they \ cows \ pigs \ chickens \ eggs \ ducks 为复数形式。
难点：正确认读cows\pigs \ chickens复数的读音[z] , ducks [s]，能够区别两种读音。

教学过程
一、Preparation
1、Greet and sing the song of M4 U 2.
2、Free talk : ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) (PPT) What’s this What are these Ss: It’s a head \ nose \mouth. These are eyes \ ears. 通过复习身体部位引出：Is it a dog Ss: No, it’s a pig. (学生互学单词pig,教师纠正规范发音通过发音让学生感知单词的读音)
二、Presentation
1、导入：（PPT）What’s th ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )is It’s a pig. What are these These are pigs. This is the father pig \ mother pig. They look angry. Why
让学生看CD-ROM, 了解大意(大明还闹出个小笑话，什么呢？)
2、新授：（板书Module5 U ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )nit1）Today let’s talk about animals.出示图（PPT）This is Daming’s grandpa. Where are they They are on the farm.(单词教学farm-arm- far-car)学生说一说农场里知道的农场小动物都有哪些？出示几张farm的图片学生认读。

3、任务：今天我们就跟着Daming\Sam去爷爷的农场里看看，并且学习用英语来描述这些小动物。
4、The first liste ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ning. Daming 和Sam 在农场里都看到了哪些小动物？Play the CD-ROM. 听音后学生反馈，老师板书单词：cows\ chickens\ ducks（听音标号，辨音将单词的音和形联系起来引导学生发现规律）
5、The second listening ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ). Daming和Sam见到了这么多的小动物，Sam还真的不认识他们呢，后来认识了吗？怎么认识的呢？再来听一听Sam是如何询问的？（学生打开书听音后反馈，师板书： What are they They’re….）
6、单词句型教学：出示：they(ppt试读this\ that \these \ they)感受th的发音。
图片呈现单词引导学生自主提 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )问：What are they 自主回答（给优等学生展示自己，也给其他孩子勇于提问的机会），随时让学生将图片贴在黑板上将单词的音形意结合起来。领读黑板上的功能句，强调cows \ pigs \ chickens 与ducks词尾s 的发音。

7、机械操练：传递游戏（来操练功能句型）
The third listening: Listen and repeat. 跟读模仿语音和语调，引导学生学习了解情境词eggs
三、Practise
1、Picture talking（情境对话）

2.Look, listen, guess and say.
(PPT) 看脚印、听叫声、看动物的腿来猜“What are they They’re….”

3.情境：大明从农场回来拍了很多照片，想看看吗？一名同学看照片，其他学生通过提问来获取照片的内容。

四、Production
用今天学习的知识来描述农场中的小动物。
五、Summary and homework
听录音模仿读课文，尝试背诵课文。
评价方式
以farm 为主题，评价 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )过程中奖励小组同学各种小动物，既可以为任务完成环节中学生直观的介绍农场中的小动物，又可以围绕本课中所要学习的动物名称进行巩固。
