一、新知学习
1．Introduce words “sew” and “hobby”.
Guessing the riddles:
A. It can reproduce some broken things.
B. It needs craftsmanship.
Grandma always do this thing.
Answers: sew
2．Introduce sew.
T: Do you know sew
Where do you see this before
(In grandma’s home.)
My grandma loves to do those things.
Help students to learn “hobby”.
(Help the students to find the differences between “hobby” and “hobbies”.)
3．Introduce the sentence pattern “Why … Because …”
Show a picture of some broken things.

T shows some pictures of different hobbies and introduces sew machine, gloves, bags and so on.
