一、新知学习
1．Introduce words “hike” and “hobby”.
Guessing the riddles:
A. It attracts many women to do this activity.
B. It needs more energy.
Young people always do this thing.
Answers: hike.
2．Introduce hike.
T: Do you know hike
Where do you see this activity before
(On TV.)
My mother loves to do those things.
Help students to learn “hobby”.
(Help the students to find the differences between “hobby” and “hobbies”.)
3．Introduce the sentence pattern “Why … Because …”
Show a picture of some hikers.
T: What do you know about hobby

T: shows some pictures of different hobbies and introduces hike, run, trip and so on.
