Five years later, soon after the start of the Tokyo Paralympics, Ibrahim Hamato received worldwide attention. With both arms cut, this Egyptian table tennis player used his feet to serve the ball and his mouth to hold the bat, which touched lots of people.
In 1973, Hamato was born in a small village in Egypt. At the age of 10, he lost both his arms in a train accident. For Hamato, the most difficult time was the first year after the accident. Later, he slowly accepted the fact and began to try to heal (治愈) himself with exercise.

Albert Einstein and Wolfgang Mozart are possibly the two most famous examples of people who are geniuses (天才). But unlike Mozart, Einstein wasn’t very talented as a kid. Born in Germany in 1879, he was slow to learn to speak, and he was a normal student at school. He was interested in math and science, but he liked to study at home better. One letter was from a girl with math problems at school. “Do not worry about your difficulties in math” was his answer “I can tell you that mine are still greater. ”

For many people, Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) is one of the top sites for tips on beauty, fashion, travel, food and education. For others, it is also a perfect place to share one’s life experiences. But for a growing number of young people, the site is a place to look not for friends, but dazi, or “activity partner”.
The word dazi became especially common earlier this year, with many people in search of those with similar interests. Unlike friendships, the relationships between dazi are not long or deep. The idea is simple—people come together to join in an activity they all enjoy.
Finding dazi circles is becoming popular for two reasons. First, the Internet has made it easy for young people to connect with one another. Second, young people, especially students, usually have smaller social circles. For students, “Their friends are mostly their schoolmates. So, it can be difficult to find someone who shares a similar interest. Going online to find dazi to do something they like is more practical.” says Xu Shijin, an organizer of dazi groups on Xiaohongshu.
▲ Bu Yu, a 35-year-old who lives in Shanghai decided to form a dazi group after finding that many mothers wanted their children to play together. She created a group in late March, and organized a tour of the Shanghai Firefighting Museum in April with other families that have children of similar ages. “The experience was great,” says Bu.
“We humans like doing things together. This is why young people are crazy about finding dazi circles these days,” says Yu Hai, a professor at Fudan University. It’s also good for young people to take part in more gatherings to practice their social skills.

C.To share life experiences with each other.

35.Which of the following is the best sentence to be put in Paragraph 4

Michael Jackson had been on the road of performing since he was five years old. For anyone who wants to know, the road to fame and fortune is a long, hard one to travel.
Michael Jackson remembered those early years when he was young. “My father was a machine operator,” he explained, “and he worked at a steel plant. My mother worked at Sears, a big department store. But they were both musicians.”
Mr. Jackson realized that his sons had a lot of talents, and he knew he could train them to become fine musicians. In those days there were plenty of music groups and some of them were very good. He knew if his sons were to stand out, they would have to be the best.
Practice makes perfect. And the Jackson boys practiced! Gradually the group took shape. When the Jacksons took their first professional jobs, their total pay was only five dollars! They kept on working. They played at parties. They entered bigger contests. They worked at clubs. Then word of this group began to get around. All of a sudden, the Jackson Five became popular in the country: their first album sold a million copies! Michael, 11 years old then, was the star. It just didn’t seem possible that so much talent could come from such a young performer.
Then Michael got a chance to do some solo songs. For the following years Michael had always been on the top. One million records of his were sold in New Zealand, which had only a total population of three million! When Michael was eighteen, he entered another field of his career: acting. “I plan to star in movies,” he told his friends, “but of course, my first love is music.”
Michael wrote a lot of his own songs. “Songs came about in the strangest ways,” he said. “I’ll just wake up from sleeping and there is a whole song coming into my head. And then I put it down on the paper.” Whatever he did, it worked!
Still, with all his success, Michael managed to keep his head calm. “I just do a different job from other people,” he said, “but it doesn’t make me think I’m better than other people.”
To be quite honest, his fans just love to hear and watch him!

If如果;Unless除非;Although尽管;Because因为。此句是if引导的条件状语从句,表示“如果”。故选A。
