教 学 环 节 Step 1: Warming up 1. Make greetings. 2. Do actions. get up, go to school, have classes, go home, do homework, go to bed. 3. Guessing game : When do I get up Teacher and Ss do actions together. Ss guess the time.
Step 2:Presentation 1. Lead in: This class we are going to talk about some children on the Internet. ( write the topic on the blackboard.) Teach the word: internet 2. Introduce Betty Lin to the pupils.(Show the picture) Task 1: Listen to the text and try to answer the questions: Where is she from When does she get up Task 2:Read the text freely and underline the new words. 3. Teach the new words. Show some pictures and teach: Home page, city, most, Sydney, opera house. 4. Introduce John Rosen to the pupils. Introduce Sydney to the pupils, especially Opera house. Task 3: Read the text to your partner. 5. Do the test. Choose T or F. Step 3: Practice Introduce yourself like the children on the Internet in groups. Then get some individuals to introduce.如:I'm... from... Here you can read... about my... Step 4: Extension Watch the Video. Tell the pupils that we should form a good habit: early to get up and early to bed. It's good for our health. Step 5:Homework Please send me mail and tell me about your day. Ss read the word Internet. Ss listen and answer. Ss read the text. Watch and read the new words more times. Ss listen to the teacher and learn. Help each other. Ss read the text 2 aloud in pairs.
