Lesson 3 I live in Beijing.
一、热身（Warm-up）
请学生展示搜集来的各国名人及卡通形象，并运用以下句型进行交流，复习上节课内容。如：
— Where’s he/she from
—Is he/she from…？
—Yes, he/she is. He/She is from…或No, he/she isn’t. He/She is from…
二、呈现（presentation）
1.教师假扮李明：“I’m from C ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )hina. I live in Beijing. Beijing is beautiful.”教授单词live并板书句型“I live in…”，然后请学生模仿造句子。
2.教师播放教学光盘或录音，请学生整体感知 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )课文内容。教师提出问题：“What are they talking about ”引导学生带着问题听录音。
3.再次播放录音，教师提出问题：“Wher ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )e do you live, Jim/Mary/Mike ”并引导学生回答：“I live in Ottawa.”“I live in London.”和“I live in Washington D.C.”反复操练句型“Where do you live？I live in…”
4.然后教师出示渥太华、伦敦和华盛顿的课件或图片，引导学生说出“It’s beautiful.”和“It’s famous.”并练习。
5.请学生阅读课文插图并模仿跟读课文录音，注意学生的语音语调。
三、练习（practice）
1.组织学生以小组形式演练课文，然后戴头饰上讲台表演。
2.请学生阅读课本Let’s talk部分的插图，播放录音或教学光盘，引导学生两人一组练习。如：
—Where are you from
—I’m from Britain.
—Where do you live
—I live in London. It’s beautiful.
四、运用（production）
1.教师组织学生小组活动，做调查。
Name I live in… It’s…
2.完成配套练习。
五、句子书写（Let’s copy）
1.教师出示并领读以下三个句子，提示学生注意语音语调准确流畅。
Where are you from
I’m from China.
I live in Beijing.
2.教师规范板书以上句子，提示注意标点符号、句子首字母及地点首字母大写。
3.请学生抄写课本上的句子。
六、课外活动（after-school activities）
1.听课文录音，模仿跟读。
2.课下调查自己的朋友住在哪里，并与同学交流。
