Learn the new words and newsentencesT: Look at the picture.接着上面出示的图片进一步来让学生进行理解并且多媒体依次出现第一段短文的句子：Polar bears arevery big. Their fur is white……在此让学生猜How bigare polar bears ___ metres ____ kolos然后图片出示：3 metres 650 kilos。 紧接着提出问题:What isthe favourite food of polarbears 出示图片海豹引出单词seal.领读引导学生答Theirfavourite food is seals.(板书)T :打开书48页，阅读短文一。（师领读）Open your books and turn topage forty-eight.2. CAI 出示图片arctic fox领读单词并呈现问题，让学生带着问题阅读第2段Open your books and turn topage forty-eight. Read thetext2 and answer thequestion1 “When do arcticfoxes live in groups ”Find out the answer and explain the text.出示北极狐挖地道的图片，引出句子The arctic foxes make tunnels under the snow.强调make tunnel 并板书句子。Answer the question2 “What is the favourite foodof arctic foxes ”学生会很快找到答案 Theirfavourite food is lemmings.出示lemming的图片3. CAI 出示arctic hare的图片并领读。紧接着出示问题，让学生带着问题阅读第三段Let’s read the text3 and answer the question “Where can the arctic hareshide in winter 学生会找到答案 They can hidein the tunnels. 课后反思 本课内容很能激发学生的学习热情，因为这些离孩子们较远，他们很想了解更多关于北极的知识，因此在学习兴趣上，老师不必花太多的心思；在介绍新知环节，李倩老师运用现代教学手段，抓住学生的迫切心情，提出问题，给学生观察思考的空间，和学生一道共建了和谐的课堂，我觉得方法多样，能够让学生的学习热情一直持续，因此我采用了她的做法；到练习环节，我觉得学生通过学习，可以运用所学来完成任务了，因此采用了她的一个开放性练习之后，又设计了一个可选择的练习，让不同层次的学生都有表现的机会；巩固环节主要是训练学生写的能力，实现听、说、读、写的综合训练。
