e.g. This is a book about English.
这是一本有关英语的书。
拓展：on 也可意为“关于”，指系统地或理论性较强地论述某事，其论述的内容较正式或较严肃。
about 指泛泛地或非正式地谈论某事，
其谈论的内容也较为普通。

e.g. I have friends around the world. 我的朋友遍天下。
around the world=all over the world 意为“全世界；世界各地"；可用于句末作地点状语，也可作后置定语修饰名词。

(1)people /'pi pl/ n. 人，人们
people 作“人，人们”讲时，是集体名词，不能用a 或one 修饰，可以用some，many，a lot of 等修饰。people 作主语时，谓语动词用复数形式。
e.g. Many people like playing computer games.
许多人喜欢玩电脑游戏。
(2)traditional adj. 传统的
e.g. The Spring Festival is a traditional festival in China.
在中国，春节是一个传统节日。
We have a long tradition of wine-making.
我们有着悠久的酿酒传统。
tradition （n.）+al（形容词后缀）=traditional
e.g. national (国家的) educational（教育的）

men /men/ n. 男人
men 是名词man 的复数形式，属于不规则变化。
e.g. Her husband is a big man.
她的丈夫是个身材高大的男人。
I saw a couple of men get out.

pretty /'pr t / adj. 漂亮的；可爱的
e.g. What a pretty picture! 多么漂亮的一幅画啊！
It’s pretty cold in winter.
冬天天气相当冷。
拓展：beautiful 意为“美丽的”，不用于男性；形容男性时用handsome，意为“英俊的；潇洒的”。
pretty还可作副词，意为“相当；很”。
pretty 多用于修饰小孩、妇女和娇小的东西，语气较弱。
