Meet Ms. Liu见到刘老师
在此句中注意Mr., Mrs., Miss.（意为先生、夫人、小姐）三个单词的用法。在西方，婚后的女士随丈夫姓。姓之前用Mrs. Smith。未婚女士姓之前用Miss，意为小姐。如果无法判断她是否结婚，则可称为Ms或Lady（女士）。与女士谈话时，用错Miss和Mrs.，会使女士们很不愉快。

此句中，very special是形容词作定语，放在someone的后面。不定代词someone, anyone的定语必须放在它们后面，就象something, anything, nothing的定语一样。

feel lucky to do sth.相当于be lucky to do sth.表示“做某事感到幸 运”。lucky的副词形式是luckily,意为“幸运地”。

孩子们的家被烧毁了，但是他们幸运地躲过一劫。

（1）start 和 begin 都有“开始”的意思,begin to do /doing相当于start to do /doing。当主语是无生命的事物时,后面要接to do sth.。
e.g. It started to rain when I got home yesterday.昨天当我到家的时候开始下雨了。
（2）“时间段+ago”意为“……前”,多与一般过去时连用。
e.g. They lived here ten years ago.他们十年前住在这里。
