Numbers (second period)
Teaching aims:
1 Say simple numbers 1-10 or sentences “How many?” by looking at objects or pictures.
2 Use the numbers in everyday’s life.
3 Have a good habit of studying English.
Teaching key points:
Numbers: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
Teaching difficult points:
1 The pronunciation of “six”, “eight”.
2 Use the numbers in life.
Teaching aids:
Multi-media, number cards, some objects, paper.
Teaching procedure:
Step1 Greeting and warm up.
Sing a song “Ten little candles dance”
Step 2 Presentation
Show a Powerpoint and present all the numbers.
Step 3 Consolidation
1 Read the cards and ask the students to put them in right order.
2 A game: Who’s faster?
3 Find the numbers from the picture.
4 Say the numbers from the ppt.
5 Sing a song: Number song.
Step 4 Practice
1 Show the ppt and ask “How many pigs can you see?”. Try to let students answer “I can see five pigs.”
2 Find the objects in the classroom and do “ask and answer.”
Step 5 Extension
1 Tell them my telephone number and let them call me. Then have a dialogue with them.
2 Ask the students to write down the partners’ numbers. Listen to some report and try to repeat it.
3 Say a chant.
1 读的方法:
Let’s read the numbers together.
Which group wants to read?(paper, cicer, rock)读的好给小组加分。
男女生读。
打乱顺序点读。给学生加分
2 Now let’s play a game, ok? Look at my mouth and read what I say. I want to see who is Number 1. Ok? (可玩几遍,可叫2个学生上去做little teacher,奖励小红花)
3 oh, you are so clever. I want check whether you are very super. I have a picture. They are many numbers here. What number can you find? (每个组叫2个回答,可加分,然后全班一起根据我指的读一遍)
4 Now you should open your big eyes. The numbers are very quick. Let’s try to say it, ok?
You are very very good now. Group 1 can get 2 stars.
5 Do you remember Simon? Yes, now let’s play “Simon says”. Simon says :
Clap your hands for 3 times.
Jump for 5 times.
Nod your heads for 2 times.
Shake your hands for 6 times.
Wiggle your fingers for 8 times.
Touch your hair for 4 times
Roll your hands for 7 times.
Pound your fist for 4 times.
当学生没做对时,说Sorry , Simon.并减掉那一组的分。
6 Group 2 get 2 stars. You are so great. Now let’s sing the song, ok? Before we sing a song, we do the action, ok? (一边做动作一边念一遍)
7 I want to show you a picture.
What is this? This is a duck. How many ducks can you see? I can see 3 ducks.(出示句型)
让学生跟读一遍。
8 拿出一个电话,问Do you know my telephone number? Can you guess? 8 numbers here.
叫4个学生把自己的号码写在黑板上。 让学生跟读。
9 Say a chant.
