教材分析 The content of this unit is mainly around the topic of the Internet, and the teaching activities of each section serve this theme. The topic of the Listening and Speaking part of this lesson is "Ask about online habits". Many middle school students have many years of Internet experience, but they use the Internet for what, how much time they spend every day, may not be very clear. This section allows students to investigate their peers’ Internet use, which helps them to enhance mutual understanding and enhance their understanding of the Internet. At the same time, it can help them to reflect on their own online behavior, learn from others’ good online habits, and stop their own bad online behavior.
学情分析 The target of this course is students in Senior One, who have mastered certain ability of retrieving and processing information when listening to text materials, but their English language foundation is weak. Fortunately, the Internet is something they are familiar with and keen to express. Through listening, reading and imitating in this course, as well as mastering key sentence patterns, it is hoped that students can express their own views by imitating. It is predicted that they are familiar with and interested in Internet topics. But for some topic vocabulary is relatively unfamiliar, for how to use language to accurately talk about the Internet habits is not familiar. As far as listening strategies are concerned, they may not be familiar with the use of shorthand strategies and need explicit guidance before listening.
学习 目标与核心素养 Language ability Master following new words and phrases: write a blog post, use a search engine, chat with, have a chat with, stream movies, do a survey on. Know some basic information of internet,especially its development in China. Train their ability of guessing a new words in the listening by paying attention to the next sentences. Describe their online habits and make a comment on others' online habits.

Arouse their interest in the topic and provide basic information for them, which helps them listen to find the answers easily.
听中环节 Activity1: Tick the pictures of the activities that you like to do when you are online. Activity2: Complete the table and match the names with the activities. Listen and complete the table. Activity3: Listen for definitions. Activity4: Listen to the Tapescript: Tick the online activities that students like to do. Help Ss obtain the general information of the dialogues according to the listening tips provided. After acknowledging the information and the meaning of the new words. Listen the script again Provide their background information to get Ss ready for the following listening task. Based on the background information, enable the students to locate the key words while listening more quickly and exactly. Listening again for details enables the students to better understand the listening material and identify the opinions speakers want to express. Provide listening strategy--listen for definitions--for students to practice and improve their listening ability. Enables the students to better understand the listening material and identify the definitions of words.
