We use conjunctions like and, but, or and so to join ideas together.
我们使用像and, but, or和so这样的连词把想法连接在一起。
1. and的用法
1) and用来连接两个词性相同的词、短语或句子,表示并列关系。如:
English and Chinese are different languages.
2) 如果连接两个含有相同的主语的句子或两个含有相同的主语和谓语的句子,and后可以省去相同的部分。如:
We saw the tower and (we) liked it very much.
He felt cold and (he felt) hungry.
