一、课前活动,交流点评
The teacher pretends to be playing the piano and asks the students “I can play the piano. What about you? Come to the front and tell us what you can do without saying anything. Just do it.” Help the students find “play table tennis”, “ride a bike”, etc.
二、预习检测,明确目标
Show one of the pictures and ask, “Can you dance?” Let some of the students answer and help them get the answer “Yes, I can./ No, I can’t”. Give them five minutes to ask and answer in pairs by using ‘Can you …?’
三、学习新知,探究质疑
1.Listen to the dialogue and answer: How many clubs are mentioned in the dialogue?
2.Read the dialogue in roles.
3.Check the clubs they want to join.
四、评价反思,整理归纳
Let the students do an interview by using the table on Page 9.(They can fill their classmates’ names in it) Eg: Liu Yanhe can play the piano, so he would like to join the Music Club and Liu Jiyuan can dance so she would like to join the Dance Club.
五、强化训练,布置作业
1.Read and retell the dialogue.
2.Write the report about the interview above.如:In our class, every student has his own hobbies. Liu Yanhe can play the piano, so he would like to join the Music Club and Liu Jiyuan can dance so she would like to join the Dance Club.
