Step 1 Presentation Read these sentences and summarize the grammar rules. 1. Is this your family Yes, it is. That’s my dad. Are these your grandparents Yes, they are. Those are Paul’s son and daughter. (1) 指示代词是表示“这个,那个,这些,那些”等指示概念的代词。其中this (这个)和 these (这些)指代离说话人较近的人或事物;that (那个)和these (那些)指代离说话人较远的人或 事物。 (2) 指示代词的一般疑问句形式是直接将be动词提至句首。在回答主语为this,that,these,those的一般疑问句时,问句中的this,that在答语中要用it代替,these,those要用they 代替。 2. My dad’s parents are on the right. This is our teachers’ room. This is Lily and Lucy’s room. (1) 结构 ①一般情况下在名词词尾加“’s” ,表示“……的”。 Mary’s mother 玛丽的妈妈 ②若名词词尾已有s,只加“’”。 the teachers’ office 教师办公室 ③不以s或es结尾的复数名词加“’s”。 Children’s Day 儿童节 (2) 用法 ①表示各自拥有,在各名词后分别加’s。 Alice’s and Mary’s bags爱丽丝的书包和玛丽的书包 ②表示共同拥有,在最后一个名词词尾加’s。 Tony and Eric’s room 托尼和埃里克的房间(共同的) 设计意图:引导学生归纳总结本单元的目标语言点,培养学生的自主学习能力。 Step 2 Practice Activity 1 Look at the pictures and talk about the families.
