用法1 动词-ing形式作表语,说明主语的内容,指一般性、经常性的动作。
1、My mother’s hobby is growing vegetable.
2、Her job is looking after the children.
用法2 现在分词作表语,总是跟在系动词之后,表示主语所具有的特征。

注意:许多作表语的现在分词几乎已经形容词化,可以用副词修饰,也可以有比较级形式。
