教学内容
Let’s talk 学生能够理解对话大意。学生能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。学生能够在情景中,恰当运用句型“—Would you like… —Yes, please./No, thanks.”学生能够在情景中,恰当运用功能句“Help yourself.”学生能够在语境中,理解新词“knife, fork, chopstick”的意思。
Let’s play 学生能够在选择食物的场景中,巩固运用句型“Would you like some… ”和 “How much is it ”
教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1.学生能够听懂、会说句型
“—Would you like some… —Yes, please./No, thanks.”
2.学生能够理解课文对话大意,并能做到发音准确、语调自然流畅。
(二)思维能力目标
1. 学生能够在真实的情景中,运用本课的核心句型,来向别人提出用餐建议或餐具使用建议。
(三)学习能力目标
1. 学生通过role play等活动,学会与他人合作学习的能力。
2. 通过不同的学习任务,学生能有意识地运用所学字、词、句,培养“说英语”的能力。
(四)文化品格目标
1. 利用不同的语境,增强文化素养和与他人交往的能力。

(用闪卡形式快速帮学生复习食物类词汇: fish, egg, beef, noodles, rice, bread, cake, juice, soup, milk, chicken, vegetable. 可以让学生快速起立抢答,也可以设置成小组PK回答)

T: When we have dinner, what should we use for eating
T: We call it tableware. Let’s see what are they.
bowl
T: We need a bowl for rice. Look, it’s a bowl. And they are bowls.
spoon
T: We need a spoon for soup. And it’s a spoon. And they are spoons.
fork
T: We need a fork when eating beef. Look, it’s a fork. And they are forks.
knife
T: We also need a knife when eating beef. It’s a knife. And they are knives.
chopsticks
T: We usually use chopsticks for dinner in China.
(用图片展示出不同种类的餐具,并展示其相应的音标,拼写,复数形式)

Step 3: Before reading
Fast ask and answer
T: Look at the picture, who are they in the picture
Ss: Wu Binbin, Mike and Wu Binbin’s Mum.
T: Guess where are they now
Ss: They are at Wu Binbin’s home.
T: That’s right. And look at the clock, it’s time for dinner. And dinner is ready.
T: Help yourself.
T: What’s for dinner
S1: Soup.
S2: Bread.
S3: Beef.
S4: Vegetables.
(让学生先对图片进行提问回答,快速理解对话发生的背景,为接下来的对话发生做铺垫)

T: Let’s act it out. One plays as Wu Binbin. One acts out as Mike. Choose one food that you would like and the other one you wouldn’t like.

Step 4: Let’s talk
Listen and answer
T: Let’s listen to the tape and answer these two questions.
Question 1: Would they like some soup
Question 2: Can Mike use the chopsticks
T: Listen carefully with the books closed.
(关上书本听听力材料,再回答两个问题,学生需要带着目的去听)
Watch the video and follow it.

(看视频,并且跟读)
Listen and imitate
T: Open the book and listen to the tape. Try to imitate it.
(打开书本,听音频材料,并且去模仿其语音语调)

T: Look at today’s specials. They are very cheap. Amy and Sarah will have a meal. Listen and choose the correct answer.
