单元大任务:Writing a short story about your own experience
教材分析:
本模块以童话故事为主题,把语法与故事结合起来,采用隐性教育的方式让学生了解故事的同时掌握过去进行时的结构和用法。
Unit1 是关于《爱丽丝漫游奇境》的对话。玲玲和Tony就阅读书中的内容展开讨论。玲玲向Tony介绍了该故事的主要情节与角色。让学生对此故事的主要内容有了初步的了解,同时其新奇有趣的情节激发了学生进一步了解该故事的学习兴趣。
Unit2 是选取了关于《爱丽丝漫游奇境》开头经典的一段情节。文字浅显但不失幽默,以讲故事的方式将童话故事呈现在学生面前。该语篇生动形象的语言有助于学生感知美好的童话魅力,同时有助于学生感知并学习用英语续写故事。
Unit3是语言应用单元,其中阅读语篇是关于《爱丽丝漫游奇境》中爱丽丝参加茶话会时与“March Hare “和”the Mouse”的对话。同时请学生把这个片段表演出来。
本模块的任务是请学生结合自己的经历和想象创作出自己的故事。
单元各语篇与单元主题之间,既相互独立,又相互关联。学习活动按照学习理解、应用实践和迁移创新三个层次逐步展开,循序渐进。
学情分析:
童话故事是学生童年最美好的回忆,学生也在七年级下册学习过“Goldilocks and the three bears” 的故事。因此对本模块的话题会产生强烈的兴趣。本模块的语篇围绕《爱丽丝漫游奇境》展开,也许有部分学生曾经读过这本书,或者观看过同名电影,所以学生对于本模块的内容可能已经拥有一定的背景知识。
学生在七年级已经学习过现在进行时态和被be 动词的一般过去时形式。这为本课的过去进行时学习奠定了基础。但是对过去进行时的使用不熟悉,或与一般过去时的使用出现混淆。

Unit 1 Alice was sitting with her sister by the river.
教材分析:
What:本课的教学内容是第七模块第一单元,通过Tony和玲玲之间的对话,介绍故事《爱丽丝漫游奇境》的主要情节,学习用过去进行时来描述发生在过去某一时刻正在发生的事情。
Why:学生喜欢童话,在品读中与爱丽丝共情,大胆想象,勇于冒险,仿佛身临其境,感叹新奇追求带来的美妙经历时,激发学生对名著阅读的热爱。
How:本课时是听说课,在对话中学习fall,follow,hole,rabbit,ground ,have a tea party ,fall down 等重点单词和短语,同时在介绍阅读童话故事主要情节时呈现过去进行时这一时态。
学情分析:
学生在经过七年级时学习过金凤花姑娘和三只熊的童话故事,具有对故事学习的一个基础准备,但是对国外的童话故事了解较少,尤其是故事中角色的名字是学生认读听辨的难点。同时对分析人物身上的精神品质缺少意识。
学习目标:
通过本课的学习,学生能够:
掌握本单元重点单词及短语:fall, follow, hole, ground, fall down。
能听懂包含过去进行时的童话故事,在语境中理解并运用过去进行时态。
能流利地朗读、复述对话主要内容,并进行角色扮演。
能询问、介绍过去某个时间正在发生的事情和行为。

Free talk: show some fairy stories and ask the following questions:

What are they about
Step2.Pre-reading
Introduce the names of the characters in the story.

Listen and number the words as they hear them .
Fall follow hole rabbit strange
Listen again and number the pictures.
Play the recording for students to check the answers together.
Step 3. While-reading
Play the recording and ask students to answer the questions:

Check the answers by asking some students to answer.
Play the recording again ,this time ask them to complete the notes.

(2). One day Alice was sitting with her sister by the river and saw a white rabbit with a watch.
有一天,爱丽丝正和她姐姐坐在河边,她看到一只带着手表的白兔。
本句用来过去进行时来表示过去某个具体时间正在进行的动作,其结构为:was/were+v-ing。
例如:Sam is watching TV at that time.萨姆那个时候正在看电视。
请学生找出对话中其他的过去进行时的句子。
(3).Why was it running 它为什么跑?
Why 引导的特殊疑问句,意为“为什么”。其结构为:特殊疑问词+was/were+主语+v-ing +其他?例如: What were you doing at this time yesterday 昨天这个时候你在做什么?
(4).It was sitting in a tree and was smiling at everyone.
他正坐在树上,朝每个人微笑。
辨析: in a tree 与on a tree
表示树上自然生长的(果实、树叶等),用 on the tree; 表示其他东西落在树上或停留在树上的,用in the tree.
例如: There is a bird in the tree. 树上有一只鸟。
There are many oranges on the tree. 树上有很多桔子。

What: 本课选自《爱丽丝漫游奇境》开头经典的部分。文字浅显而又不失幽默,以讲故事的方式将童话故事生动、形象地呈现在学生面前,并自然结合了过去进行时的语法重点。
Why:故事主题一直是学生喜欢的话题,以故事语篇为载体,更有利于学生学习。激发学生对童话故事的热爱,同时学习人物身上可爱纯真、勇于尝试、敢于冒险的精神品质。

学情分析:

本课时是第七模块第三单元,首先是复习过去进行时态的应用,通过创设真实语境中,使学生学会熟练运用过去进行时。其次是通过听、说、写复习重点词汇和短语。在阅读任务中,请学生阅读爱丽丝漫游奇境的经典的片段,然后请学生表演出来。最后是本模块的写作任务,根据问题提示把自己的经历写成一个短故事。
学情分析:
学生通过前两个单元的学习,对爱丽丝漫游奇境的故事情节和主要角色都很熟悉了,应该非常感兴趣把开茶会这个片段表演出来。此外,对过去完成时态也很熟悉了,但是还需要大量真实语境的练习达到巩固。
教学目标:
通过本课的学习,学生能够达到:
