教学目标1.语言知识技能目标（1）学会三个新词：phone，day, yesterday.（2）能够听、说、认读句子：Did you… yesterday Yes, I did. No, I didn’t.并与他人进行交流。（3）能够初步描述自己或他人过去干的事情。2.情感态度目标 学生在听音做动作、猜一猜等丰富多 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )彩的活动中体验学习英语的兴趣；学生通过角色表演和调查活动, 强化敢于开口、积极参与学习活动、乐于用英语交际的效果。通过文本的学习，让学生了解在西方国家，孩子作为家庭的一员，会主动承担一些家务事；大点的孩子会利用业余时间参加社会实践，增长见识，锻炼实践能力。
教材分析说明教材版本、选取的教学章节、以 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )及教师个人对教材内容的理解分析，需要清晰的阐明教学重点、难点以及教学准备。课文内容安排的是Amy通过给奶奶打电话的方式来交流周末做了些什么，以过去式的一般疑问句来表达周末的内容，并初步学习用陈述句描述过去的动作。在Module8学习系动词Be引导的对过去的描述的基础上，进一步学习行为动词规则变化的过去式，也为Module9学习不规则动词过去式做好了铺垫。
教学方法四年级的学生已经学过相关的动词短语，并初步 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )接触了以系动词Be引导的过去时态,因此在本模块教学前可以通过TPR活动，激活学生头脑中已有的动词词组，实现对旧知的复习和巩固，在此基础上，力求使学生在体验参与的基础上，本节课的教学目标的达成应该不是很困难的。 （1）通过丰富多彩的活动来激发学生兴趣，学习新知，巩固拓展。包括：听音做动作、简笔画、角色表演、猜一猜、一分钟智力大比拼等。（2）学生学会积极与他人合作，小组内共同完成学习任务（3）教学之前用百度在网上 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )搜索相关教学材料，找了很多教案作参考，根据教学的重点和难点，确定课堂教学形式和方法。然后根据课堂教学需要，利用百度搜索在中小学教程网找到的学习资料参考，用百度图片网上搜索下载的图片，做成PPT课堂给同学们演示，与课堂教学同步，加深对可为的学习。
