教学材料及分析 《Snake and Rat》选自《PEP小学英语》教材五年级上册第四单元Part C Story Time。在这个单元中孩子们主要学习What can you do I can…和Can you… Yes, I can. /No, I can’t.等句型。因此,这一节故事课主要是综合孩子们的已有语言知识,在理解故事的基础上进行有感情的朗读和角色表演。通过理解、朗读、表演、转述故事等方式进一步提高学生的综合语言运用能力,以及培养他们自主运用语言的积极态度。
教学设计说明 在Pre-reading环节,我以相互认识为由让孩子们说说自己都会做些什么。在While-reading环节,我让孩子们带着任务整体感知故事,然后通过分段精读的方式,一边解决问题,一边模仿朗读来体会Snake和Rat的情感,进而学习和理解故事;在Post-reading环节,通过自主选择呈现故事和分享故事两个活动进一步激发孩子们对故事学习的热情,同时培养孩子们的叙述能力。
