Analysis of the Teaching Material 本节课是九年级全册第五单元的第五课时,课型为阅读课。主题以“传统艺术”为话题展开以阅读为主的活动。介绍了介绍最具中国特色的传统艺术,如孔明灯、剪纸和泥塑。包括它们的制作工艺、制作原料和象征意义等。通过本节课,还训练学生一个重要的阅读策略,即让学生了解文章结构的特点:先总体介绍,后细节描写。阅读板块采用读前,读中,读后的过程性设计思路。2a为读前活动。2b要求学生略读寻找关键信息,2c是要求学生寻读找细节回答问题,2b,2c都是对阅读技巧的引领。2d,要求学生再度文章,对关键短语的复现,理解、巩固,从而加深对文章的理解。2e小组讨论活动则是读后的迁移升华,明确作者写作意图,达到情感升华的目的。在学习语言的同时也要不失时机地进行情感教育, 培养学生欣赏美的能力;并能学会在平凡的事物中发现美了解一些地方知名产品或传统艺术品的制作过程以及制作材料,培养学生的民族自豪感及爱国主义精神。
Analysis of the Students 经过本单元前四课时内容的学习后,学生能够用被动语态描述物品的原材料和产地,对描述中国的传统手工艺有了一定的语言学习能力与语言感知能力。本课阅读内容围中国传统艺术展开,重点描述孔明灯、剪纸和陶艺;学生对于这些传统艺术的制作材料以及用途也不陌生,可以引导学生使用目标句型进行谈论这一话题。对于语言结构学生并不陌生,重点是一些新词汇和教材侧重训练的阅读策略及能力。积极地配合教师进行篇章的阅读训练 , 在阅读获取文章信息的同时还要关注文章结构,运用多样阅读策略,通过各种方式解读文本,达到掌握语篇,提高学习效率的目的。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 1.学习与孔明灯、福字和瓷娃等中国民间艺术有关的词汇:its, form, clay, balloon, scissors, lively, fairy, heat, polish, complete.2.读懂有关描述孔明灯、剪纸和陶艺的中国传统工艺的文章。

Step 1Lead-in Play a part of a TV play about people flying sky lanterns.T:What are they doing S1:They are flying sky lanterns.T:What are they used for S2:They are symbols of good wishes.T:You're right.But according to Chinese history,they were first used to ask for help when people were in trouble.It's a form of Chinese traditional art.Today we'll learn some traditional art forms of China. 观看视频回答老师提问,复习上节课知识。 根据记忆的遗忘规律,复习巩固上节课学习知识,头脑风暴,使学生初步了解本篇短文的相关知识背景并展开想象,便于对阅读短文的理解。
Step 2Pre-reading Discussion(2a)Make students understand the meaning of questions in 2a,then ask some students to answer the questions in 2a.What do you know about folk or traditional art,like paper cutting Tell your partner about it. 讨论题目,作出预测,回答提问。 读前活动旨在为阅读铺垫,激活学生脑海中与阅读话题或者内容相关的知识。

设计该阅读课时,课堂导入,词汇铺垫,阅读理解,知识迁移,情感升华,环环相扣以达到最终目标。课堂设计体现了任务型教学的设计理念,读前、读中,读后围绕文章主题设置了相应的任务,引导学生了解与中国传统文化艺术有关的风俗习惯和文化背景,并且进一步巩固本单元的语言表现形式——被动语态。3通过进行文本阅读,生成文章的思维导图,培养阅读策略,加深对民间艺术品的理解和对传统文化的自豪感。
有待改进 1.阅读策略,需要在平时的阅读训练中继续练习使用,争取使每个学达到提高阅读能力并迁移知识的目的。
2.思维导图应该在阅读过程中逐步生成,让学生更好址体会到文章的脉络框架。
